hello people... i am mostly a silent reader of many forums and is only active on one forum really... but this season of nach baliye had made me comment here... i am a die heart lover of dance and watch almost every reality show on dance then it would be any DID ,JDJ ,Nach baliye or any other .. i have wathed all the seasons of these shows... but this tym i have to say i am pretty disappointed by the season 5 of nach baliye.. contestants are pretty good and they are trying their level but the judging criteria sucks big tym.. i have only found terrance a bit loyal to his job and he is giving good comments based on dancing style, poise and concept... i mean i watched last two episodes and many factors in dancers performance were not pointed... all are learners and keeping this fact in mind judges need to point the flaws... i guesss in charlies & amar's performance when they were inacting as puppets charlie's face expressions were changing which shouldn't be (though the performance was awesome but a flaw which must be pointed out) but none did it... in mahi & jay's performance during lifts mahi's toes were not pointed and lifts were not that clean .. as for rahul and dimpy wat was fun factor wat was entertaining dunt know as i cudn't find any thing for getting perfect 33 for them and the fact that dimpy lift rahul was mentioned by imran khan rather than any of 3 judges... then this rajisthani jodi ... wat was that?? what kind of dancing was that ?? seriously wat were their dancing theme?? "Free" and still they got gud comments

I am not saying that these jodis are not putting their efforts but they need to be judged on their performance their flaws shud be pointed out and as for SAJID KHAN i dunno what entertainment is after heraing his comments as the performances "rahul dimpy" & that "rajasthani couple" were the one which i found utterly bad and not watcheable .. i just passed them out and he awarded them more marks than the deserving ones...

I am sorry for making such a long post but i really feel that judges need to concentrate more on dancing then anything elsseee..

I completely agree. The critique of actual dancing does not seem to be high in the judges mind presently. For them, entertainment value suffices everything. And its especially annoying how the judges are giving points to the jodi's based on their previous dances. In Nach Baliye, the couples are competing against EACH OTHER, not against themselves. Sure, its nice when a couple improves from last week, but each week should be seen as separate. The couples should be judged compared to each other, not themselves.

I completely agree with your assessment of Sajid too. I just hope the judges change soon and actually start judging the couples based on the dance, creativity, and execution rather than just entertainment value.

Absolutely and no reality show judges says like this that okay raghav u r btter than rajsmitha or mohena u were worst than sanam.. for heaven's sake it is always like ur this performance is better than last's week and u have improvedd... some flaws are being removed some still need working ... but here sajid ji Mahaannn .. i think he shud be given DVDs of all reality dance shows and make him learn what is judgement actually?? and entertainment in a dance show means an awesome dance ... an amazing concept an amazing execution and to top it all as it is a couple dance reality show a killing chemistry..

agree...infact every body is pissed off with sajid's commnt...he hardly know the meaning of dancing...i guess he is become fan of rahul's stupid n irritating laugh n for that reason he is giving him full marks...but dint understad where other judge left their brains...
