I can see what your saying, but thats not what i was talking about. Im not talking about the janta's votes, im talking about the judges marking, which has a great impact on the people. and as many of those who replied said, if the judges have favourties, they should not be judging at all. its just not fair. and never at any point did i say that i didnt like mahesh, i mentioned that i loved his performance where he did the "black" theme and those marks that he got were totally justified, but in the other rounds, i dont see what hes getting marks for. and you cant say that hes the only one that entertains, they all entertain me, and again, its not about the dance that can tell many stories, its all about the technique, grace, style and energy that it is performed with.
i am not saying that the judges are bad because they dont agree with me, and i do not appreciate you saying that, because you are taking the wrong meaning of what im saying. i dont care if the judges agree with me or not, i want them to judge fairly and not by who they like, but rather by who is actually performing a good dance. i am a professional dancer and i dance here in toronto, i am in competitions, and i know what we as dancers go through when we are being judged, and if i was any of those dancers up there, i would be upset if the judges were picking favourites.
i totally agree with you when you say that dance is not just technicality, but also about passion and emotion, but i see that in most of the dances preformed. i saw the passion and emotion in mahesh's "black" interpretation, and i sat there with tears in my eyes, i was truly moved. but tell me, that was one performance, in the other performances, all i really see is sonia, and mahesh is more of the backup guy, where as ajay and rhea for example, i see ajay in the dance. again, lets not get to the mahesh versus everyone else thing becuase thats not what im talking about.
my point is only that the judges should not pick favourites and should judge according to the dance. they should judge according to what they are saying, for example, if they are going to call ajay's cartwheel an eyepopper, then they have no right to call akaash's backflip an acrobat. again, im sorry if you are offended by anything i say, but like i said before, im just speakin my mind. again, on a more happier note, i love seeing these respective celebrities give it their all when it comes to dance. cheers.

I disagree with you there. Look we all have our favorites, everybody has different tastes. There are people who absolutely LOVE Karan Johar films, and there are people who absolutely hate them.
Likewise, just because you don't like Mahesh, doesn't mean that most people don't. It's not JUST the judges' votes that counted here, but also the mass public. I can speak for myself and my friends/family.. we absolutely LOVed watching Mahesh.. in fact, every week we're waiting with baited breath to see what he would do this time. The judges are not biased... they're judging based on their own judgment as to who really is good. They're human too and likewise have their own tastes as well. Shilpa gave Akash a 10 at one point while the other two gave less. They've all given Shveta the points she deserved. Another example, SLB loves having Aish Rai in his movies, whereas I like Sush better. Some like Shah Rukh, while others like Amir Khan. Doesn't mean you criticize the judges for not agreeing with you!!! What makes any one of us true Judges?!
A few days ago I was thinking, shveta is the best dancer, followed by mona, but if mahesh weren't around, we wouldn't get variety and entertainment. Dance again has a lot to do with emotions and passion, not technicality. Trust me, i know a thing or two about music and dance! (that's an understatement, by the way)! I love Amitabh Bacchan, but if you watch his older movies, he wasn't a totally exceptional dancer...he pretty much had the same style..his own style.. there were definitely better dancers than him, namely Rishi Kapoor, etc.. but because Amitji had the personality, the emotions in his dancing, he became a rage. Likewise with Mahesh. He has his own style and a lot of people love it. Look, again, we all have our opinions.. not everybody likes the same kind of food, same kind of dance.. so in that way, some of us like mahesh, and some don't.
