Avantika is always insecure, she has never trusted wholeheartedly anybody in life. She has worn a mask of confidence; but in reality she can easily be misled. If she has been successful so far it is actually the money she has earned herself. Money can cover up many faults 😎

Hmmm...

Avantika -- eh?? The toughest part is when you try to analyse reel life characters and start relating to real life, its always hard and becomes very muddled...

So I will refrain from plunging in... I have innumerable hreads running in my head, end of each of which i end up saying but this is not real life...

What I can say is the following:

  • Avantika's character has not been thought thru... So she comes across as muddled...
  • Her separation from Harish - in fact that whole episode is so flimsy and weird... I have remarked on this before somewhere.
  • Her relationships are weird - she comes across as having formal relationships with her dad, sister, brother, sis in law, niece, nephew even her own son. I don't see love ...
  • Amazing dress sense - it goes with her formal portrayal...

Hope that helps...

In complete agreement with you.
But the person at fault here is both her husband and her sister. We dont know what disastrous secret it is that they share---- but whatever it is they should tell it to her.She would eventually and surely be able to handle it. After all she is a mother. And mothers always try to stay strong for their kids and wives always come thru for their husbands. No need to protect her, Just trust her to handle it --- people always can, when they are surrounded by love.
By not telling her they have made her a painfully twisted personality . She cant think cos of the pain of betrayal. And who wouldnt? your husband and sis!!! I' ll Weep continously too!
Nice post!

Avantu's basic problem is an inability to see that things may not be what she thinks they are ... she has lost a great deal of time because of this.

Fully agree with you.

True, reel life and real life are not same but we expect that reel life character will be believable.
