Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV will see an interesting twist wherein the audience will get to know that Dr. Onir (Shakti Arora) is not the father of Purvi's (Asha Negi) child. With Ankita Lokhande (Archana) all set to bid adieu to the show (15 February being her last day), the focus will now move to the younger generation.
In the coming episodes, it will be revealed that Dr. Onir has just fathered the responsibility of Purvi's child and takes care of her. While Onir has developed feelings for Purvi in the bargain, Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani) will again fall for Purvi. As the story progresses, Dr. Onir will learn about Purvi's past and will be ready to sacrifice his love.
The other track that will be in focus is the wedding of Teju (Mrinalini Tyagi) with Sunny (Karan Sharma). Aaji will be against this marriage as Sunny's mother (essayed by Ketkie Dave) is Aaji's enemy. However, the entire Deshmukh family supports Teju and Sunny, which will lead to Teju and Sunny tying the knot.
