I'm sorry if something like that was written. It's just a bad work.only scribblings

"You still have not moved on" Meera told Geet. She just shrugged; sighing. "I don't know" she mumbled and looked outside. She was not in a mood of talking about that. "Geet, auntie wants you to get married'..." Meera said.

"I know" she whispered sadly. "I just don't have anyone that I find perfect for me" she told Meera but was convincing herself. "You're still thinking about that Maan Khurana, right" Meera scowled. "No" Geet added hastily and avoided Meera's look.

"I know you do'..." Meera said. Geet had tears in her eyes; she just did not want Meera to see it. "I've moved on, I've said goodbye to yesterday" she whispered; broken. "Yes, you've moved on" Meera agreed "but he's still in your mind" Meera said. "No" she whispered tearfully.

Meera handed her tissues. "You still think about him?" Meera asked but it was not a question; Geet knew that. "Please, I don't want to talk about him" Geet said sipping her coffee which burnt her tongue.

"We need to talk about him; only then we'll manage to get him off your mind'..." Meera said. "Stop turning the pages of my past" Geet muttered. "I'm not; if you don't forget about him; you'll never be happy' - it's been two years Geet, two years!!" Meera said.

"We broke up" Geet said in a hoarse. Her voice was raspy. "I should say he broke off with me without even caring how I would be" Geet muttered. "He did not care; he did not give me any time to explain; he just broke everything like a mere paper; torn" she said. "I can't believe I'm still thinking of him" Geet said.

"He's getting married soon" Meera whispered. Geet's face drained; pale; taking her handbag she went away leaving a startled Meera behind.

"Why did you do this to me?" she thought. "You broke off like anything...my wounds are still here...but you forget everything that we had".

She arrived at home. Her house was huge; like a mansion. She lived with her Mother ever since her Dad died. She walked through the longue deep in her thoughts.

"I loved you; I gave you my everything; my heart; and you did not even trust me in a nanoseconds you threw me out of your life just like that?"

"...being with you always made me feel good'I can't believe you kept lying to me all those times...I just...I'll remove you out of my mind...from now"

Maria was cleaning Geet's room. "Hello Maria, you get go out now..." Geet said. "But baby, I've not yet cleaned the room" Maria protested meekly. "Dear you, I'm not feeling very well; can you please go out, I want to be alone..."

Maria frowned and said "I'm sure you're going to get ill" she said. "You want me to call your mother, dear" she asked gently. She shook her head and said "no". Maria left and looked around her room.

She sat huffily on her bed and took her private journal; she torn some pages and said "I always thought of you-I just wish you a happy life" she said and went to take a small nap. She woke up and went to have dinner; lost in Maan Khurana's thoughts.

"Are you sure you don't like Jessica?" Vicky asked. "I'm hundred percent sure" Maan answered lost in his file and paperwork. "Why?" questioned Vicky. "Huh?"

"Why? Give me a reason, you rejected Riiha, Pinky and now Jessica" Vicky sighed. "Why are you rejecting them, they are all good" he objected. "I don't find the good enough; they are just way too perfect for me-" Maan said and added "its makes the end of our conversations about girls"

"I know why you are refusing them all" Vicky said. "Why?" Maan growled. "You still have Geet in your mind, mind, mind, hmm, I forgot something, yes, your heart" he smirked. "What ever, I don't know what you're talking about" Maan snapped.

"You loved Geet, nah, but suddenly you broke with her- you still have feelings for her, you still think of her" Vicky pressed. "Vicky, you're my brother that's why I'm tolerating such insolence" Maan snarled. "Maan, whom are you fooling and convincing, me or yourself?" Vicky asked.

Maan stood silent for some seconds and said "I don't even remember why I loved her?" Silence drowned in the room. "Maybe because she has awesome brown eyes; imperfect messy hair; her lips always curling for a small kiss or a big scowl, her nose always like a rabbit'..." Maan said and added "I know perfectly why I loved her" he sighed. "Man, don't you think it was a bit your mistake too-you know about your break up?" Vicky asked. "No" Maan roared "I saw her very well with that man" he growled; his eyes red with anger; he stormed off.

"Geet...moving on does not mean to get a fianc from no way!" Meera said exasperated. "Look Meera, I need someone to make me forget Maan Khurana...and I think Ronny is the best person" Geet declared. "You really think so?" Meera said. Geet shrugged and said "I'm happy with Ronny".

Ronny came with a big hamburger and gorged on it. "I love donuts" he said and devoured everything. Geet looked at Ronny disgusted; but seeing Meera watching her; she faked a cooing smile. "Ronny, will you accompany me at Nikki's party?" Geet coaxed and flashed Ronny her charming smile. "Tonight, have you lost it" Ronny said juggling the ham and kicked it with his hand in his mouth. Meera gave a disgusted look. "There's match tonight, Manchesters' playing, and you don't want me to miss that, Geet" Ronny said "I'm going to buy myself cokes; will you take something ladies".

Meera gave Geet an awkward look and shrugging her shoulders; she said "fine, I'm going alone".

"I was just a cute pearl tied on a string, for you Maan".

"I'm going to forget you Maan Khurana" Geet chanted while she got ready for the party. "I have forgotten you Maan...I still can't believe you broke me to pieces; you let me fall down so much-I loved you...and in return you did not even trust me..." she sighed while wearing her make-up. "The girl that you knew is so gone".

"I can't believe I ran out of gas" Geet thought. "Maan would always make me remember that" she thought and got angry on herself. "Why do I keep thinking of him...!" She looked in the rear view mirror and her eyes fell on her lilac earrings; it was those whom Maan gave her to cheer her up after her father's departure. "You won't even notice me now; I bet you won't even remember about those earrings" she thought. She knew she had strong feelings wrapped in emotions and could be sent to Maan as a gift; she was attached to him; strongly attached; but he had nothing to do with her.

Maan was at the gas station too. Vicky had ran out of gas and he went to buy some coke for himself leaving Maan alone roaming at the station. Maan saw the gas station attendant; he stepped out; he needed some air; Geet was invading his mind. The attendant was attending a car. He went to him and handed him the money.

"I need change sir" the attendant said and turned to Geet "you too wait ma'am, I'll come with changes" and left. Maan turned to see who the driver was and both was shocked to see each other.

"She's even prettier than before" Maan thought and his eyes cornered her earrings. Geet looked away and felt her heart beating faster; she could feel it popping out of her ribcage. "Wow...for a girl who keeps changing boyfriends and wearing what your ex gives you...pretty good" Maan smirked rudely. Geet looked at him shocked, tears were forming; she could not help it, but let them slipped as she glared at him. She never thought of expecting him here and noticing his gift.

"What type of girl you are" Maan continue very offensively. The attendant was coming with the changes.

"I can't believe you hate me that much to say such things..." Geet said brushing off her tears and looking at the attendant she said "keep the change" and sped off driving at full speed.

"What just happened dude?" the attendant asked confused demanding Maan some answers who just shrugged his shoulders.

Maan turned and saw Vicky staring at him with his arms folded.

"What were you doing with Geet? She cried the poor thing.." Vicky defended. "The poor thing; she's a shameless bi..-" he said trying to sound angry but stopped. "I can't say bad things about her..." he sighed, hurt. "I hated her but I could not see her crying...she was so alone after her dad died...the tears...how could I say such rude things..." Maan said burying his face in his hands. "I love her, I felt her pain when she lost her father...I love her very much..." Maan confessed. "She's my dream girl, my life".

Vicky patted Maan's shoulder and said "why don't you go and tell her...?"

"Yes...yes...that's what I'm going to do...buy..." he paused "what if she pushed me out...if she rejects me..."

"Even if she does that, she'll know that you could not live without her...just do it, be proud to love not what you'll receive in loving..."

Maan smiled tearfully and said "since when you talk such great things". "Man, I've got a girlfriend".

Rain poured down; windows creaked as the wind thrashed through the city. "I miss you Dad" Geet mumbled as she sat in her room; on the bed. With every little sound; she got scared. Her mother had went to pay her Dadi a visit even Maria had gone to see her kids; she was alone, in the whole big mansion.

Rain furiously hit the ground showing its anger. Geet got up and climbed down the stairs. "I'll make smoothie" she thought. "Dad loved them very much". She sighed and sat on the stairs; thinking of her awesome times with her father; how he had pampered her very much. She smiled; forgetting about Maan; remembering her Dad as she sat on the cold stairs.

"Damn, it's raining" Maan said as he stopped in front of the mansion. He walked in the yard for some minutes to reach the door.

"Was that the sound of a car?" Geet thought and shivered. "Maybe Mom's home" she thought and went to check through the window but did not see any car. "Or it's my imagination" she said.

She heard a squeak.

"What's that? Was that a knock!" she thought.

Maan did not dare to ring the bell thinking that Geet might get frightened with that. He closed his eyes knowing that she would not yet be asleep; he knocked the door.

Trembling; Geet reached the main door and said "who's that?"

Maan smiled at her shaking voice. "Geet, open the door". Geet was too scared to recognize Maan's voice and said "if you dare to break the door let me warn you there's a tight security plus I'm a black belt" Geet said trying to keep herself from shaking.

"Tight security" Maan smirked "the guard let me in". "Geet open, it's me Maan" Maan said. Geet felt her heart beating faster as she opened the door and saw a drenched Maan.

"What are you doing here?" Geet asked shocked. Maan shivered and said "Can I come in?"

"I was sleeping, you broke my dreams" Geet said angrily and pretended to be asleep. "Geet, you don't know how to act, so stop acting, you always got an F in acting" Maan chuckled softly as he entered inside. He took out his wet shoes and walked in. Geet turned away and blushed at his comments then remembered his rude encounter.

"What do you want" she said coldly.

"You" Maan said. Geet, shocked, turned to face him. "Can I sit?" Maan asked with innocent babyish eyes. Geet nodded; feared to answer. "So you're a black belt..." Maan smirked. Geet went red; she had ran away from her first karate class but Maan was used to martial arts.

"What do you want" she said coldly again.

Geet went to the kitchen to prepare something and came with hot coffee and handed to a shivering Maan. She threw a towel at him and Maan dried himself a little bit. He smiled seeing black coffee. "You still remember that I loved coffee...?" Maan said and smiled. Geet glared at him as he sipped the coffee cutely.

Geet could not help smiling; he was naive; an innocent chick. "Geet, I need to talk" Maan said pausing and gazing at her with his killing eyes.

"About what" she retorted hotly. She was fierce; afraid of being hurt again.

"You know...about us".

"What there's left to talk?" she said. "I'm going out with Ronny" she said bravely; but mentally knew it was not like that. Maan's face changed; Geet noticed; jealousy and envy crawled in his eyes; he clenched his fists; his jaw was tight; protectiveness and possessiveness were clearly visible. "Lucky man" Maan said "he'll receive your selfless love" he faked a chuckle. Geet could see Maan was disturbed; but she was hurt, broken and had no idea what to endure more because of her so-called 'noble' love.

"There's lots of lucky fishes" Maan said in a hoarse and sipped his coffee to avoid Geet to see how uncomfortable he was. He remembered Vicky's words and gave a smile. He had grown a mustache with the foam. "Never mind; Geet; I know I should have accuse you so terribly and I should not have broken off with you" Maan said.

"Oh...just now you have realized" Geet said fiercely "huh". Maan nodded "when I saw your tears; it broke my heart; it made me realized that my immediate reactions seeing you with that brat was no mature...you had expected much more from me but I was not able to trust you" Maan said.

Geet wanted to cry; if she turned away; she would have started to cry. "I should have listened to you but no; I was so spontaneous with my decision, my anger burning me; I tried to hide how broken I was'" Maan said.

"I trusted you but you..." Geet said and stopped; if she continued; she would start to weep and she knew she would prove to him how weak she was. Maan nodded "it was not your mistake; it was mine too..." Maan sighed. "I wish I realized that earlier...but all this time I was only assuring myself...that I hated you...but deep inside I knew...it was not like that".

Geet was mum. She did not want to answer but still she did "it's over Maan, you did not even trust me" she said glaring at him as he shivered with wiping his hands with the towel. Maan nodded and said "you do deserve someone better than me..."

"How come right today you noticed how hurt I was, huh, I won't buy it" Geet said turning away. "I was here when you lost your father" he whispered. "I saw your pain, I understood it; all those time I was trying to convincing myself that being rude with you; I'll forget you" he said softly. Geet turned a little shocked. "But anyway; I just wanted to say I still and will always love you" and slurped the coffee.

"Why then you did not let me explain to you, eh" she asked. She had to ask it; if her mother wanted her to forget Maan Khurana and have a happy married life; she had to know every reason so that she could remove him from her heart. She wanted to be happy. Maan looked away; he feared that question. "When I saw you with him; I thought that you'" he could not continue, tears were forming "you...will leave me like my damn father did to us" he said he did not dare to continue; he knew that Geet would understand him even if he did not continue. "I was scared; worried; that you'd leave me and go away...I saw how my Mom was after Dad abandoned me, Vicky and Annie when I was eight" he whispered "I loved you very much...I could not bear to see myself shattering..." Maan whispered and closed his eyes. "Even twenty years later; I'll still hate my damn Father for what he did". Geet went to sit next him and cupped his face. "Maan...you don't need to continue; if you could feel my pain, I could see yours without you even saying it" she said and snuggled next to him. She had tears in her eyes; Maan did not cry; but Geet did; she squirmed as his clothes were wet. "Please don't continue, I don't want you to suffer" she whispered.

"Why you're so nice; so..." Maan said in a hoarse as Geet snuggled closer to him. Her PJs were a little bit wet. "You still love hearts Pajamas, eh" Maan said trying to cheer her up. Geet gave a weak smile. "I don't want you to'" Maan said pushing Geet gently from her hug. "You're going out with Ronny, and I wish you the best...me; I'll leave..." Maan said standing.

Geet got embarrassed; she was vulnerable; she knew she could break very quickly. "Maan...I heard you would get married soon?" she asked. She gave a damn about what he thought; she wanted to know; she knew she still loved him. "Vicky told me something and he was right be proud of your love don't wait to see what you get in return for loving' and he's right" he said and smiled.

Maan turned to leave and Geet shouted "But I still love you". Maan stopped dead in his tracks and Geet hugged him from behind. "If I had not got married even though Mom had wished it many times it was because I could not forget you". Maan turned around and spun Geet. He smiled "do I still have another chance?" he asked. Geet nodded with tears "you can understand me..." she whispered.

"What about Ronny?" Maan asked. He was still jealous. Geet saw how insecure he was and chuckled "Ronny, apart from his kebab and chilly he does not know anything, I'll send him a cake and it'll be finished" she laughed. Maan smiled and said "thank you". Geet smiled back and tossed her hair behind but it made it messier than it was. Maan chuckled as he tucked her locks behind her ears. "You're pretty". "I know".

"I better call my mother and announced her some good news" Maan said. "What?" Geet asked perplexed. "She was so excited for me to get married; impatient; I'll tell her I found my lost bride called Geet" Maan said. Geet grinned as Maan squeezed her waist.
