I know everyone including me are upset at the way Sajid judges . I think the forum is beaten to no end with topics about him so I am not going to really talk about him unless I have to. Also today I found he was more positive so hopefully he will keep that up.
Suhasi/Jaisheel ' Suhasi can dance and when I was watching I too thought they were missing in the synch department. I think more than synch Jaisheel kept forgetting the steps so that meant that they were disconnected. I thought that since it was entertainment just like Sajid wanted he would say he loved it. No doubt what he said they raised the bar last week was right but then he said he would look for entertainment and this was pure entertainment. Starting from a comedy song to the dance with garba thrown in to the fun dialogues and costumes. And the phool at the end it was a full movie from story telling aspect so what more did he want. I don't want to beat him any further but he needs to stop contradicting what he is looking for and be fair to all not just to Rahul. The marks were correct as I am not taking Rahul into consideration and just looking with rest of the field.
Shefali/Parag ' Seriously an sensual electrifying performance. Even if she did not tell us it was pretty obvious that they were just into each other .. They executed sensuality to the T which is a part of the baliye . Also it did not go to vulgarity and the way Shilpa acted was dumb . The steps were really nice and the lifts and drops just enhanced the performance. Again a sad score from Sajid What was the flaw in the performance to give it such a score . Atleast he should have given a 10 but he knew something was missed as he shrugged at the end.
Smita/Ankush ' A very simple sweet dance. The lifts you could see they were not that great and it was understandable why. For once I cannot fault Sajid . His marks were spot on and yes Terrence knew this was the basic waltz but he could have still given them for the steps and being in a ball as that is not easy.
Nilu/Arvind ' I think that they did well as actors but not as dancers. They did do it this as a dedication so it was understandable but I think their scores of 9 were a little too much . I am a big fan of Nilu but the weight and age should not be a factor. I wuld agree with Sajids' 8 here .
Deepshika/Kaishav- For me in the whole episode this was my least favorite. I did not think it was Deepshika's fault like the judges pointed. The song was not choreographed well at all. The salsa part was so blurred for me in between the Bollywood or bellydance or whatever she was trying to do. They should have taken a better song or different kind of fusion.
For me the highlight was indeed the dance from Sania and Shoaib. I was upset yesterday we did not get to see them dance and today their dance was so magical that really wiped all the complaints. They did end the show well especially after Deepshika's act. From the scores and the couple my feeling that the couples who are in danger of leaving are Deepshika/Keshav or Smita/Ankush
Now for next week we know its going to be Anushka and Imran on the sets to promote their new movie. So till then I guess the discussions on Sajid's judging will continue on the forum however I want to point out that he was not that bad today. Especially after the Shefali scoring there seems like a switch was turned on. He realized maybe he is not in tune and decided to do a better job. I want to take that positivity into next week .
