Mayank and Lavanya went to the hostel to bring Khushi's stuff from there while Rohit went back to his home to stay with his family. Khushi was sitting in the living room watching TV. Arnav was in the kitchen. She once thought to go and check what he was doing but then she decided not to interfere

After half an hour he came out with a tray in his hand.

"Here, taste this Kheer and tell me how is it?" He said placing the tray on the table while she glared him in bewilderment

"What? ……. Why are you staring me like this?... Eat!" seeing her still not moving, he took the spoon and stuffing it with Kheer,

"I know it's not as good as you do make but still I feel honored if you taste it" he made her eat it

"How is it?" He asked curiously as a kid expecting complemented for trying something first time

"Nice" She replied briefly taking the bowl from him,

"Thanks" He just smiled and started making tea

"You won't eat?" she stopped taking the spoon to her mouth as she saw him making tea

"No, actually I'll just take tea" He replied pouring milk in the cup

She silently finished Kheer and he immediately gave her medicines. She took them and then they had tea together though in silence

"So, will you come university tomorrow?" He asked her after they finished with the tea. She once looked at him and then looked away

"Nn … No, if your father come to know then ………."

"He won't do anything?" He cut her sentence

"But ….." She was hesitant to reply anything

He got up from his place and came to her

"Just do what your heart is saying" He held her hands into his, "I just asked if you'll be comfortable coming to university"

"B … But what will everyone think that …. we ….about …. Our marriage" Fear was clearly reflecting on her face. Lifting his hand to her face, he caressed her cheeks lightly

"Khushi I am telling you not to look in the past and not to care about the people, don't let people influence your thinking" He paused as he found her staring at him with amazement, "You are coming tomorrow with me and that's final"

"But …."

"I am not listening to your any but, It's your husband's order and you have to follow it" She couldn't help the blush at his mention of being her husband

"Ok"

Lavanya decided to stay with Khushi tonight. Mayank and Arnav decided to sleep in living room while giving the room to the girls.

It was midnight now but sleep was still far away from his eyes. He was still unable to believe that Khushi could love him. He always thought she considered him as a friend, but never from any of her gesture had she showed that she was interested in him. He remembered how she reacted when Rishi created the letter fiasco. After her strong rejection it's hard for him to believe that she love him.

"I wish Khushi I could tell you what you are to me, I can give my whole life just for a little smile on your face, You can't even imagine the pain I go through whenever you cry, You are my world Khushi and I won't let anything to harm you anymore" He closed his eyes trying to get some sleep but it seemed today sleep godess doesn't want him to sleep

"Oh my God Khushi you are looking absolutely stunning" Khushi blushed at Lavanya's remark

She has worn this red sari with the matching silver earrings and the locket chain which she never parted from herself. Even with the minimal makeup she was looking like a temptress ready to kill anyone by just her looks

"Shut up Lavanya, I am really feeling awkward, if it was not our annual dinner and if Dean would not made it compulsory for every student to attend, I would never go" She pronounced with irritation as she tied the strap of her silvery white heel

"Seriously Khushi, I am feeling pity for the boys of our class, they are going to be flat seeing you" Lavanya ignored her ranting and said applying mascara to her eyes

"I am warning you Lavanya don't ahh ….." As she stood up and took a step continuing her ranting she stumbled making Lavanya giggle

"See God has punished you for raving your friend"

"Now after this sari these heels are stupid, was only this piece left for me?"

Khushi was busy with her assignment last week so she asked Lavanya to get a dress and a pair of shoes for her. She found it very pretty till today when she worn it and Lavanya continuously praising her making her even more uncomfortable. Now if Lavanya have told her that Arnav chose this Sari for her and that it was his favorite color, she would not waste a minute to change, so she just zipped her mouth

"C'mon Khushi you need to come out your books and see the world around" Lavanya turned to her with a red lipstick

"What are you doing?" Khushi backed off sensing her intentions

"Just applying it to your beautiful lips" Before Lavanya could really do it, she held her hand in right time

"I've applied this gloss and I'm very happy with it" Khushi saying it moved to the closet while Lavanya put the lipstick back smirking. She love her innocent friend very much and more than it love teasing her

"Now what are you searching?" Lavanya questioned

"I'm taking this shawl with me, at least in this way I would fel less awkward" She replied folding the shawl

"Khushi stop acting like a fool now, It's not December so just left it here" Lavanya snatched the shawl from her but Khushi quickly took it back from her

"I know this is not December but this is March and we're going to a night function, I bet you'll be the one asking me for this shawl with this silly backless gown of yours" She placed the shawl to her right shoulder and contently looked at herself in the mirror. Lavanya thought of not to bug with her anymore kept silent

As she expected, Lavanya insisted on sharing the table with Mayank and his friends and Khushi having no other choice sat with them. Out of six chairs five were occupied with their group while the sixth one beside Khushi was empty. Arnav was sitting opposite to Khushi and busy in admiring her. She was nervously looking around just playing with the corner of her Sari or in between twisting her fingers.

Just before the speech of Dean, the sixth seat of their table was filled by Rishi, the notorious guy of their class and even the university.

"Hey is this you Khushi, you are looking gorgeous" Khushi shifted away slightly towards Lavanya feeling even more nervous and Arnav could see that.

Arnav whispered to Rohit who was sitting between him and Mayank to exchange seat with Khushi making some excuse as if he would do it will make no difference because Rishi was sitting between him and Khushi

"Khushi, come here I want to click your and Mayank's photo" She looked at him confused but Rohit gestured her through eyes and she understood, Feeling a bit relieved she left her seat and came to the Rohit's

As she sat, Arnav tilting his head a bit gazed at her and smiled, "Perfect" He muttered under his breath

RIshi was not a kid to understand what was happening between Arnav and Khushi. From here he was seeing Arnav liked her but he was not sure about it. To be sure, his mind tell him the way.

"So Ms Khushi who was reluctant to sit beside me can comfortably sit with Mr Arnav Singh Raizada, well very soon you'll be with me and Arnav could do nothing about it" He smirked evily as he glanced Khushi passing the juice to Arnav

After dinner and the Dean's speech their seniors had organized a music gala. Getting call from his sister Arnav excused himself. Khushi was standing near the table where drinks were placed as Lavanya asked for the drink. Rishi found it the best opportunity to execute his plan

"Excuse me M'am, this is for you" She was about to leave with the glass when one of the waiter gave her a folded paper

Placing the glass back on table she opened it and read,

"Meet me I am waiting for you in the corridor, It's important about your family

Arnav"

Khushi's heart contracted at the mention of family. She remembered he just got a call from Anjali. Thinking maybe it could be serious she rushed to the campus

As Arnav came back after finishing his call, finding her seat empty he inquired;

"Where is Khushi?" As he mentioned only then his friends who was too engrossed in the performance noticed that she was missing

"I asked her to get a drink for me and then ….." Lavanya told panicked

"Whe .. Where is Rishi?" Arnav found him also missing and then he got everything. His heart instantly prayed for her safety as he ran towards their department

She was passing through the dark corridor, praying to God for her family;

"Mr Raizada" She called out obly to hear back the echo of her voice in the empty corridor

"Mr. Rai ……" She stopped as soon she heard the other voice

"Khushi what are you doing here?" This was Rishi

"Rish … Rishab what are you doing here?" She questioned back

"I … Arnav just called me here" Khushi was shocked to hear this

"Wha …. What!" She felt a sudden fear being here standing alone with Rishi

"I … I am just ….." She turned to leave but stopped immediately as she felt the grip on her elbow. Turning back she tried to remove his hand but Rishi pulled her towards him

"Now when you're here, we can have some fun before Arnav come" He smirked devilishly as he extending his hand pulled the shawl away from her shoulder. She in fear just tried to open her mouth to scream but he immediately silenced her covering her mouth with his palm

"Sshh …. Don't make a sound, you'll going to enjoy this" Khushi struggled against his grip trying to pry his hands off her mouth but she stilled shocked as his other hand moving at her back unhooked her blouse

Feeling helpless tears ran down her cheeks as his hands now moving upwards slid the blouse from her right shoulder baring it to his eyes. Khushi helplessly closed her eyes.

I loved writing the small part of Khushi and Lavanya
