I hope Aarti speaks up...

But I am curious to know how come no one thinks that Aarti should speak up and explain her situation??? Of course she is in the wrong for lying and breaking their trust but she could have apologised and also explained her situation???

I want her to speak up for herself...I just wished that she is the one to make it clear that there is nothing wrong with her being a divorcee...her first husband is a jerk and it is her good fortune that he left her! And it does not make her less than a human that she is a divorcee...She is wrong for lying to them but she is not at fault for being a divorcee!!!

I wish Aarti would also make it clear to Prashant that he cannot come back and claim Aarti as his wife as and when the he feels like it!

I do want Yash to support her and make everyone realises that if as her husband, he does not see a difference between Aarti being a divorcee or a widow...it should not make a difference to the rest of them...She is HIS wife! And his father cannot throw her out as and when he pleases...She is HIS wife and they share a life together...they have a family to think of!

But I do hope Aarti speaks up for herself first instead of being in tears expecting Yash to defend her all the way!

Exactly, I don't think she expects anything from Yash at this point. On Tuesday's episode she tells him that "I know you hate lies and I know you have begun to hate me now". Just before she goes out to speak to the family she also tells Yash that she is ready to face any punishment the family deems necessary. So ya I don't think she is expecting anything from him.

Yes, I want her to shout out to the whole world that being a divorcee is not a sin and falling in love again is not a sin either and that she is sorry for giving in to her fears and insecurities while she should have had the courage to come out with the truth ages ago. But I don't want this at the cost of her sanity. Right now, I don't even know how she is able to remain so sane. Everything is falling apart around her. She has committed tons of mistakes and wronged Yash deeply but every one of these people has wronged her too. For once, I would really like some one else to support her, just to let her know that even if she makes mistakes she is worthy of love, she is precious enough to that person to face the wrath of other people and fight for her.

Supporting someone when they are right is easy, but supporting someone when they are clearly wrong takes great courage which I think Yash has in spades. For just this once I have no problems if she is unable to articulate her mistakes. Besides there has to be people who are willing to listen for her to bare it all, which I don't think the Scindias are in a position to right now considering the shock they have received. For just this once, I would love it if Yash could stand by her defense even though he has a hard time coming to terms with the hurt she dealt him. And hopefully that is exactly how it is going to play out.
