the word 'saarrthi' literally means a person who helps the good man to fight the the bad.

it mythologically means Lord Krishna who drove Arjun's chariot during the Kurukshetra battle and helped him to fight Duryodhan..........but does anyone knows who was Duryodhan's saarrthi?

i got the answer today and would like to share it with all my saarthi friends.i read it in the newspaper.

Duryodhan's saarrthi was Arjun's stepbrother Karan who is played by Rahil Azam(SurajKiran) in our serial.according to the article Karan was evil but when he came to know that he was arjun's brother he turned positive but just to take revenge.arjun first hated karan but later realizing that karan has actually turned good accepts him.the article also stated that karan loved Panchali(Draupadi)or here Manasvi.

friends same thing has happened in our saarthi.suraj was negative before but has now turned positive so will he turn negative again just like shefali...i mean maybe like shefali he will pretend that he would turn good but actually still remain yuvraj's brother?

Though Karan and Arjun are brothers but actually according to history they never accepted each other.they remained enemies.

i am scared .....what if this happens in our saarrthi?

Nice discussion topic 👏 👏 👏 first of all and yeah i think that too that when Suraj returns(GOD knows when?)he will again start taking Yuv's side does'nt matter if he is right or wrong. And Arjun will start hating him again as well but al this fire in the house is burnt out all coz of Shefali so i think when she will exposed things will change.

hmm...you are rite.....but then suraj would take side of mansen mostly......and mansen would obviously take yuv's side.....

And now-a-days yuv is learning to be clever(mamaji ka asar) so probably he will do something or the other and always prove arjun wrong and himself rite in front of mansen and suraj and they would end up supporting yuvraj and going against arjun in the matters......

Sorry but the article that you read was wrong. Not trying to offend you but most of the points that you have quoted from the article are incorrect.Karan was never the charioteer of Duryodhan, it was someone insignificant. Infact Karan never stepped onto the battlefield till Bheesm Pitamah fought on it.This was so because Bheesm knew of the true parentage of Karan and did not want to see brothers fighting, so he put the condition before Duryodhan that he would have either Bheesm or Karan on the battlefield but never both of them together. As Bheesm was elder, inconquerable and immune to Pandavas, Duryodhun chose him.

Secondly Karan was always positive, he was a generous, god fearing and good hearted person. His only folly was that he could never oppose or contradict Duryodhun. This is best described by Krishna to Gandhari (Duryodhun's mother) on the eve of Karan's death. While Duryodhun had the disease of ambition and lust, Karan had the disease of loyalty. Everything , every relation was secondary to him but the generosity that Duryodhun had showed towards him. ( This was one point where you have to respect the Duryodhun in MahaBharata, his friendship with Karan was genuine, something which Yuvraj of Saarthi lacks) Infact he took the promise from both Kunti his real mother and Krishna that they would never disclose the fact that he is the eldest son because he knew that the day Yudhister knew that Karan was the eldest he would give the throne to him and Karan in his loyalty would have given it to Duryodhun, something which would have been unfair to both the people of the country and to Yudhister who was the deserving candidate.

And none of the Pandavas ever realized that Karan was the elder brother, they hated him till the end. Even though he did not kill any of them even when he had the chance. In Karan's own words it was his penance because although he had once loved Draupadi, her patronizing refusal had made him say words which he had regretted later. This was also one of the reason he did not join the Pandavas, he could never face Draupadi.

I know and that is why I tried apologising in the first sentence itself.

No hard feelings there. I have read the whole Mahabharata so in case you ever want to clear something you can pm me. 😊

great sharing. Good reminder of the story. I have seen mahabharath but I think you tend to forget the facts if not reminded. Thanks a lot.
