Bollywood's main language is Hindi. Sure you should know English too, because that is the generation we are in. But the audience will not be able to connect with you if you are not fluent in Hindi. There is a reason many people dislike Katrina as an actress (I do not mean to offend fans. Simply stating an OPINION).If you're in Hollywood, you most def should know fluent English. If you're in a south Indian film, you most def should know the fluent language the film is in.If you're in a Gujatrati film, you most def should be fairly fluent in Gujarati. There simply is no ifs, buts, or ands at all.And that goes for EVERY AND ANY actress or actor, not just Katrina. As for Sonam's case, she most def has the right to pursue the career she wants. She has the right to at least TRY in Bollywood. Her not being able to act is merely an opinion of the majority of viewers (the same case with Katrina). But there are people out there who appreciate both of their acting as well. It is not Sonam's fault she is the daughter of Anil ji. If she wants to pursue this career, then by all means she has the right to no matter what. So what if her father is the Anil Kapoor. What I am against is parents pushing their children to pursue the same line as them. Every individual has the right to pursue their own career according their own choice.

I agree with you but I always feel bad that a stars daughter may have more easy access to become a Bollywood actress just because she's this or this so's daughter you know :( Even though I know what your saying 😆
many white skin women do not make it to the top like Kat didOriginally posted by: AdharBahu
Yes, but Katrina is the proof that you do not need. Its controversial.
I think if you have white skin and a beautiful smile than its fine if you can not speak Hindi, that is what Bollywood think. We have recently experienced a rise in non-hindi speaking women and you know what? They are receiving Bollywood offers. You can say your opinion , but does our opinion really count? Kat , one of the top heroines , can not speak Hindi , but this did not build a barrier for her.
If they want to be an actress then Yes, If they want to be a Katrina kaif then No
I've always been fascinated by scenes where two actresses share the screen there’s something electric about it when it's done right. Think of...
So many I can name that qualify for stiff and sleepwalking characteristics: - Queen Aishwarya Rai - Katrina Kaif - Deepika Padukone - Jahnvi...
