Antisocial voice-overs!

The voice-overs of show (BV) which claims giving 'social message' are often anti-social and are unnecessarily generalized!.

When we know many social and economical problem in our country (India) are due to excess population, BV writers are suggesting to have more than one child?

Who on the earth told BV writers that if there is no sibling, the single child became problematic.

We like BV as serial. But the voice-overs shown at end are nothing but CRAP!
Frankly, when I read those voice- overs at end of every episode, I recollect conversation of 'Geet' from film 'Jab We Met' with the 'Ratlam station master'.

Station master - ' Akeli ladki khuli tijori ki taraha hoti hai!'
Geet - Do you charge for this 'Gyan' or it is free?
Station Master - it is free',
Geet - Thank you, Because, Chutta (change) nahi hai mere pass!

Let BV serial be like any other 'entertaining' serial.
Why producers are posing themselves as social reformers? when they, actually are NOT!

PS - If the thread is inadvertently violating any forum norm request moderators to close the thread.

Most of the times the messages are very touching...this has been a problem with the bv..they have to add some spices and that sometimes deviates the theme and unexpectancies are bound to happen during these times.

No they are not giving any wrong message. They are just saying that adopting a child is as good option as having one.Basant-Gehna are adoting one not consummating again.May be yes they dont realize this now but later they will know that an adopted child too can be as dear as the real one.The issue of two kids is very valid bcos being a single child often inflicts loneliness.Friends/cousins are never substitutes for siblings. So its a good message that while u have one child as ur own...u can adopt the other. That will solve the loneliness issue as well as help to find parental support for orphans and that too w/o increasing the population. It all depends on how u perceive things. The message of BV is never biased...its an open ground and u have to decide for urself.

my thought...if they really want to highlight adoption and help ensure a message is passed to the audience that adoption is a great way of being able to give a good life to a child..they should Not bring forth the point of basant being impotent...kinda gives this message that if impotent...you should adopt...rather than -Do Adopt and give a child an option to lead a good life...even if you are capable of producing another child biologically...

I think BV was forced by the I&B Ministry to add voiceovers back in 2008 to negate protests over showing child marriage. Sometimes they put in any random stuff as a voiceover.

Agree with you, just because one is an only child does not mean that one develops psychological problems.

Nandu is a really rude child. He needs some taking into hand.
