In the traditional storyline of mistaken identity, the following is what happens to make it work...

Zoya assumes that Assad is a secret agent just like James Bond. Her wild immagination pictures him in James Bond attire and even with a gun. She starts to misinterpret seemingly natural daily life rituals as indicators taht her assumption is correct. The storyline gets more interesting IF Assad eventually figures out what Zoya has concluded and plays along.

What makes this work even more is Assad is probably bursting to get back at Zoya for all the chaos she has caused and will cause in the future. Assad will actually enjoy and secretly relish in delight at the story lines he will conjure up to fool her.

The third twist is when a serious issue does arise and BOTH Assad and Zoya find themselves caught in some conspiracy/secret mission incident. At first Zoya thinks it is Assad poking fun at her; it is possible she finds out the truth beforehand or while the incident is played out. If not, Zoya will thinkAssad will find a way out because he is a secret agent...but Assad isn't...

At that point when both realize they are in turmoil, that's when the storyline will take a another direction and the two will have to work together to save themselves...perhaps we will get a good, action packed-storyline and few romantic scenes with Assad and Zoya posing as a couple😉

Your imaginations are quite cool.
I think this time jahanpanah will surely cage Zoya withing the walls.😆

O dear God!! See what you've done now! I'm gonna be thinking about this track every second now until I get some excellent ASYA scenes... !! I loveee tht concept... And I really hope tht happens.. :)

Do you all remember the film True Lies?

The wife does not know the husband is a secret agent. His wife thinks that he is a salesman. Husband finds out wife is socializing (no romance) with a guy who thinks she thinks is a secret agent. He pretends to "give her the chance to be a secret agent" but they end up caught in a real mission.

So here is what I was suggesting which I don't think I did a good job explaining -

Assad figures out that Zoya thinks he is a secret agent.

He pretends that he really is one...when he first realizes he is angry but then he decides he is going to teach Zoya a listen and entertain himself. So he plays along and gives the impression that he is an undercover agent...

Zoya and Assad however get caught in a REAL crime and Zoya thinks Assad is a secret agent and will help them get out...however Assad realizes the truth and tries to convince Zoya...

So here are poor Zoya and Assad in the mess...how do they get out of it...

Here is where the writers can take advantage of some intense emotional scenes between Zoya and Assad...perhaps them getting to know each other or even liking each other - and perhaps an inkling that that they like each other but they are not ready to tell the other person - just yet.

I hope the writers are able to help in giving us the chance to see these two an adventure...traditional scenes include a) Assad and Zoya posing as husband and wife, b) Zoya and Assad hiding out together, c) Assad and Zoya getting tied up together (both of them trying to get out of this mess and aruging with each other would be a delight)...

And the personal conversations will include a) revelation as to Zoya is an orphan, b) why she REALLY agreed to the marriage with Akram (I want her to say that she wanted to have a chance to have a family of her own and Assad letting her now she has one - him, his mother and Najma), c) Assad telling her about his father and how he feels about him.

If I was writing the show...I'd give this storyline a good 2-3 weeks with a maha episode.

What do you guys think?

Maybe to an extent you may be correct but i am not so convinced that there will be some secret issue that they will unknowingly get involved and will have to work together to save themselves...I respect your opinion ...but what i feel is maybe she might come to know of asad and ayaan's relation and in turn when everyone gets on asad for still being in touch wid ayaan he might have an emotional outburst to which zoya might feel that maybe its her time to support him like he did when the whole akraam thing happened...this is what i feel...

lol, Marilyn, it is what is often done with this concept, but you're probably right in that it won't be used to such an advantage and it will stay pretty safe. afterall it is a desi drama 😆😆 No harm in letting the imagination run wild though does it? 😉
