Its New Year's first day, when the entire nation is in high spirits, making holiday plans, building resolutions and throwing parties.

Television celebrities, who keep everyone entertained whole year, are also high in celebration, and want to spend more time with family. Heart throb Vivian D'sena who is winning hearts essaying RK in Colors Ek Ishq Ek Junoon-Madhubala, says he is far away from home on New Year but will soon plan a holiday with family and friends.

He says, "I am celebrating New Year's far away from home this year! I am going for a holiday with my family and friends, so I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun and I am really looking forward to it to bring in the year. Here's wishing all my well-wishers the Happiest New Year. Welcome the year with joy and high spirits."

When sources got in touch with other stars of Colors, like Siddharth Shukla as Shiv from Balika Vadhu, he avers, "Every year, I make the same promise to myself, that I will try and spend as much time with my family as possible. This year I make it yet again, and hope with all my heart that I manage to fulfill it this time. Here's wishing all of you a happy, successful, prosperous and glorious New Year. May all your wishes and dreams come true."

Deepika Samson as Simar from Sasural Simar Ka said, "The New Year is here, and with it, comes a lot of joy and prosperity.
