I just wonder if what gave RK the idea to build

A dream home for Madhu...was that conversation on the bed...when Madhu said to him...RK will you come to my house for lunch tomorrow...RK said but I always eat at your house...and Madhu said I mean my mother's house...then when RK said to Padmini and Shamsher that your daughter still thinks of herself as your daughter and not only a wife, when he was patching up their relationship. It's as if RK is thinking Madhu doesn't think of this house/flat as her house, she is thinking of her mayka as her house still...whilst wherever she is going to be is where my home is 😳. So why not build our dream home where Madhu has a hand in choosing design and fittings for the house to her taste as well as mine...then she will think of where I reside as her home and slowly slowly leave her parents and be more with me.

i would love to see Madhu decorate her Home in her own simple way . But i still cannot figure out is RK doing it for his satisfaction or because he wants to prove Deepali wrong 😕 .

His doing it for both reasons I think...he enjoys his games with Dipali, he told Madhu let me enjoy before we go don't you want to see me happy. So Dips challenged him that he can never find love, but he knows now that Madhu does love him so he want's to show her that she was wrong and that is satisfying to his ego and he likes being with Madhu exclusively, Madhu takes care of all his needs, feeding him, dressing him, grooming him, hugging him, praising him plus ready to do other romance too, Madhu's like a wife and mother roped into one. RK likes all that she does for him but also his fallen in love with the way she is her zid, copying his dialogues, the mad way she acts, it's all amusing to him and that's what he loves about her. He wants her all to himself also she will be safe from those that want to harm her in a separate house.
