Defeated Mistakes Thread Two:Part 21 Page 33 - Page 11

Arnav opened the door to the Raizada mansion only to find Akash and NK sitting on the rather large chairs in the living room looking rather stressed. The two boys looked up at the sound of the footsteps and were relieved to see it was only Arnav and Khushi, the last thing they would of wanted was for Shyam to walk through those doors and it was most likely going to happen tonight.

'Where's Di?' Arnav asked, only Khushi could notice the slight fear in Arnav's voice. No matter how hard he would try to keep his resolve it was okay for him to break down, to be frightened, to be human. Khushi stared at him longingly hoping that maybe tonight she'd let him feel just' human.

'She's sleeping in her room, Nani is with her right now to keep an eye on her even though she has no clue what's going on at all' NK managed playing with his fingers in stress

'We have all security up and guards now at the main door so their shouldn't be anything to worry about. But because it's that dick we're talking about you never know what he does' Akash said angrily

'Then we take turns tonight, someone will be with Di at all times and someone stays downstairs at all times to keep watch. The windows are locked but the main door is blocked by guards. If they get sleepy on the job the main door is an easy entrance so as well as the guards being alert at all times one or two of us stay down' Arnav demanded

'Okay, Akash and I will go and sit with Nani for the first half of the night and you and Khushi stay here. The second half Khushi can spend with Anjali so she can crash with her and it wont look out of place either' NK continued further, Arnav nodded in agreement and Akash and NK were upstairs in a flash. Arnav let out a sigh and slowly sat on the couch giving the front door a deadly stare. Khushi walked over and sat down beside him cuddling into him.

'Arnav, everything is going to be okay, trust me' Khushi whispered confidently while taking his hand into hers

'Nothing will go wrong' Arnav mumbled back, his mind somewhere else, Khushi lifted her hand and cupped his face bringing it over to face hers.

'Arnav, give me your pain. It kills me to see you take all this and build it up inside of you. You have me with you forever; I'll always be here to share your pain with you. So why don't you let me?' Khushi said painfully as a tear rolled down onto her cheek. Arnav inhaled her words, breathed and looked at her with red eyes

'I cant do it anymore Khushi' Arnav croaked, his heart was still torn from when his parents had left him. No matter how much he tried to pull everyone together, it broke him even more, he wasn't like his older brother NK nor his younger brother Akash, he was different and never learnt how to handle pain, the hole inside his heart never healed over, just widened.

'You don't have to do it anymore Arnav' Khushi whispered before she through her arms around his neck and hugged him as hard as she could. Arnav let his tears flow as he hugged her back, holding onto the life that he wanted, the happiness he was owed. After so long, the hole was beginning to patch up like it should have

'Don't ever leave me Khushi' Arnav said, full plead in his voice, Khushi hugged him tighter

'Never' She mimed.

'Sir, her brothers have the whole house guarded. There is no way in right now' He said walking to the side of the house

'I know, that's why we have to get to the fuse box, which by luck isn't guarded. So be useful and find it' Shyam whispered back, jumping over the fence

'There it is' the young man replied pointing towards the little box near the side of the house

'Great' Shyam croaked ruthlessly before sliding his knife into the small pocket of his trousers.

Within twenty minutes, Khushi had snoozed off unable to keep her eyes open. Arnav watched her, smiling at her bravery to stay awake all night which obviously had failed. He kissed her forehead and laid her down on the couch opposite knowing she would be awake soon again. Arnav lifted his eyes to the clock, the night hadn't even started, before Arnav looked away, complete darkness filled the room. It was so dark that it was difficult to even make out silhouettes.

'Di' Arnav breathed in fear before he shot up the sofa and found his way upstairs, completely forgetting that Khushi was asleep downstairs... alone.

'Is Di okay' Arnav panicked bursting into the room

'She's fine Arnav beta, still asleep' Nani said trying to remain calm

'He cut the electricity so the alarms wont work, we all need to stay here with Di because we don't know where he's going to come from' NK said, Arnav sat down on the bed slightly worried

'Okay, just stay here till we here any noises, then we go to its source and beat the living crap out of him' Arnav said trying not to stress out. After a moment of silence a loud scream came from the living room.

'Was that a girl?' Akash said confused, before everyone fell in shock over realization

'KHUSHI!' Arnav screamed before he ran out of the room

'NK! Go help him! Devi Maiya racksha karna' Nani yelled worriedly, within seconds NK ran out of the room behind him leaving to turn the fuse back on.

'Khushi! Where are you!' Arnav screamed into the darkness of the living rooms, his eyes filled with tears as the hole in his heart widened again. He deceived her, she was there to share the pain with him, be there for him and he completely forgot about her, left her there. He wasn't going to forgive himself if anything happened to her, even so a scratch. Shyam kept his hand over her mouth so she was unable to reply as they stood in the corner of the room, the other side to where Arnav was standing. After ongoing silence, Arnav heard a slight muffled cry coming from the opposite direction, at the same time the room once again filled with lights letting Arnav see his Khushi with bloodshot eyes filled with tears, her mouth covered by that excuse of a man, Shyam's hand.

Arnav filled red with anger about to march forward when Shyam stopped him

'Step forward and she gets it' Shyam said angrily, sliding the blade along her arm to reveal a bleeding cut making her wince and yell in pain

'WHAT DO YOU WANT!' Arnav roared unable to see her hurt

'Give me Rani Saheba!' Shyam demanded,

'You cant have her! I swear Shyam I'm going to kill you' Arnav said through gritted teeth

'You obviously want to see this one hurt don't you' Shyam said referring to Khushi in his hands, he brought his blade over once again when NK approached him from behind and hit his head with the nearest vase. Khushi instantly fell from his grip and moved as far a way as possible holding her bleeding arm in pain as she fell to her knees. Arnav ran and punched him as hard as he could

'How dare you' Arnav said before he punched him again, sending him out like a light

'Khushi' Arnav said before he went over to her and tried taking her arm to see the cuts but Khushi moved away instantly as hot tears continued to form and fall. She looked up with her big teary eyes, she looked hurt, but it wasn't because of the cuts.

'You... you left me' Khushi said incredulously

'Khushi I-' Before Arnav could finish Khushi got up and left through the front door, continuing to cry. Arnav started after her when NK grabbed his shoulder

'Let her go, she's obviously upset' NK said calmly

'But she's hurt I cant just let her leave, she's in pain i-'

'Arnav, she probably wants to be left alone' NK said, Arnav sighed guiltily as he turned back around again only to gasp this time

'He's gone' Arnav stated in shock

'In form the police, we need him behind bars again' NK said, Arnav pulled out his phone and did exactly so.

Arnav glanced over at the door one more time, his heart shattered as he noted that this pain he had given Khushi was worse then all the other times.

Thank you for being patient with me, i've just havnt had the motive to write recently, Sorry guys. Hopefully i'll be back to normal soon. Also this fight isn't a major one so dont worry, all will be good soon, i think.
