Its right there. In the back of MRK's heads. The voice of the subconscious mind. The sixth sense. The intuition. Of what?
Of knowing that all this is too good to be true. That all this is short lived and tragedy and tests of fire are speeding towards them with the light of speed. That anyone, ANYONE, can come like a thunderbolt and snap them from each-other. That they are destined to love each-other till the end of time but far apart and in forever longing. That there is no dearth of enemies , cold winds , twists of fate who will mercilessly pull them apart.
RK knows it deep down that his darling wife may just evaporate like a vial of water in the next second. Madhubala is plagued by the fear that RK not talking to her , not in her arms means RK slipping away from her arms like magic dust.
Hear them. Look at them. More than loving each-other , as of now, its the terror of losing each-other that is lurking behind all the romance and candlelight nain-matakkas.
Sometimes, you know what tomorrow is going to bring and the universe tells you in a roundabout manner- this is what is coming your way. This is what is going to happen. And you run helter-skelter trying to undo it , trying to stop it from happening , yet, something inside you knows that you cannot fight destiny.
RK's emotionally and physically aggressive possession of Madhubala today. Madhubala's terrified and baby-like lost face yesterday when she desperately hugged and held on to RK while hugging him from behind. RK's child-like confession to Madhubala today that he thinks that only she and her love are the permanent factors in his life. Madhubala's equally child-like expression of the fear that the whole world is going to turn her enemy for stealing away RK. All these are NOT expressions of love. They are expressions of anxiety at the lull before the storm.
Its so mercilessly sad in a way. Jab pyaar nahiin karte the, tab bhi dukhi the. Aaj pyaar mein hain aur tab bhi dukhi hain - ek aise khauff se jo abhi sacch hua bhi nahiin lekin unke liye saabit ho chuka hai.,
Life is strange. Pehle haasil karne ka junoon. Aur jab haasil ho jaaye, toh kho dene ka khauff.
RK asked MB the wrong question. Use ye poochhna chaahiye tha - "Hum pyaar mein unlucky nahiin hain na?"
P.S- I made a post after a long time because i do not agree with anything in the show right now except MRK's relationship. Its not that i blame the writers. They have TRPs to maintain and they are trying to strike a balance, Unki bhi apni majboori hai and yet they are trying their best.
P.P.S- No matter where the story goes, MRK's magic is not gonna fade because that is one thing Saurabh Tiwari and DVD had a grip on from day 1 and they have hardly let it go.
