Very good thought from you, yes every girl will want her first year of marital life to be special and spend time with each other, but how could a sister who loves her sister limitlessly and for who her sister is like her soul will enjoy her marital life knowing that her sister is suffering from cancer, a deadly disease.

If i had a sister i can promise u i will do the same thing, why a sister, i love my little cousin sister like my own sister/baby and if (touchwood, nothing of the sort happens) she's suffer from a deadly disease i would do the same as my sisters life would be more valuable than the first year of marriage. And i love Jeevika for doing that, because this is what i mean an undying love and limitless love and i love Viren for supporting his wife.

Just my point of view. Hope i hadn't hurter anyone :D.x.

😳😳...thats was so sweet..how and why will you hurt someone dear!!!!!

I'm actually pretty clueless about this, even before i've seen posts about Jeevika's major sacrifice in taking Manvi's responsibility on her shoulders...
I just dont understand why? Not that i disagree, i just dont have any opinion in this matter...
Maybe i'l understand this after i get married or maybe after my elder sister gets married, so you will have to wait to get an answer from me!😆

seriously yar. thanks for highlighting something which all of us, (including big time jeevika fans) , have taken for granted.
after being away from viren (in mumbai), when she chooses to spend some time with her hubby ( after manvi making sure her sister is wit the next best support system -that being virat), people bash her and even question if she is worth being called ek hazaron mein behna.
par apni khushi ke aage apni behen ko rakne wali, is zamane mein kya, kisi bhi zamane mein, ek misaaal hi hai.
not once while making mannu stay wit her she would have thought what she would have to go through.
she never thought over it, so we took her for granted.
i think it would be the most difficult thing to choose between both behnas. but if i have to make a choice i would want to be manvi, so that i will have the best sister in the world.

Aww! I thought I was wrong for thinking that too! I have a younger cousin too...and I wouldn't think twice about keeping her with me. I know it is easier said than done...but if my husband didn't support me, I would be extremely hurt and angry. What could be more important than your family's health. Jeevika is an amazing sister. 😊

Ok for some reason this topic was brought back but LOL. My favourite character is the initial Manvi and she always will be my favourite. I love both the Behnas but I do have a soft spot for Manu. I know many of my topics are defending Jeevika but mainly because I feel she is criticised more than she deserves. Manvi has her share of defenders anyway and she isn't as flawed as Jeevika has been.

Good Point.

Jeevika is not among those people who keep supporting manvi in the matter of chacha-chachi and bua or problem of entire world but when it comes on maanvi i think jeevika is the first person to stand with her.

Agree Jeevika's in laws r really nice people (including swamini as i dont find her negative or vamp. She has her own point of view and dont like to agree with others on every matter) and specially husband. Which husband would like her wife after getting married spending more time talking and thinking about sister? But she made a huge sacrifice by asking her sister to live with her and i guess it was like taking risk with ur marital life..

But I always get surprised when people bash her for not listening maanvi's point of view. So hazaron wali behna mean always follow ur behna blindly and if u dont u r out of this category? For me she is one of the best sister.
