Hi Diwakar,
I was very upset after seeing yesterdays episode of the train songs in which Abhijeet insulted you and never stopped in doing so. Listen buddy forget about him, of course take into consideration what advice he gives you but the rest forget it. He is an emotional person who cannot control his emotions, do i get upset when someone insults you or any other child oh yes I do and what does Abhijeet want to prove and show to Abhro that Abhro lost because of you, is that what he wants a young child to learn. Shame on you Abhijeet for teaching a young child that his failure is caused due to someone else. Your failure is never brought by someone but behind every failure there is a reason to improve.
Now take me for instance my son is disabled, of course he has a 99% chance of coming out of it, you see my son is late in speech, but with the right encouragement he can come through, now as a parent what do I do, I tell him he is going to be alright and I also accept his disability. That is recognising yourself and moving on in life and how has this helped me, now my son can speak, because I put my efforts on it, people did give me sympathy and I accepted it, because people dont mean harm, when an awkward situation comes in front of them they really dont know how to react and show sympathy, but today my son does speak not in full sentences but he is getting there and me I am a budding business woman. If i went with all this manly stuff of oh no dont give sympathy to my son he is normal crap, I would be fighting or cursing anyone who came close to help my son because I would feel hey they feel sorry for me and I dont need that I am strong enough to take care of myself crap. Yes you should always have confidence, but always recognize yourself first and then you will always succeed.
Now I am not voting for you because I feel this is the only competition you can win, nor am I voting for you because I feel sorry for you, but because you have a good quality voice and I believe you need this training to become the next legend. See I like Abhro singing he is professional, but to me his voice crackles and he just does not have any stage presence, yes you may wonder what has that got to do with playback well you have to be friendly with the music directors right, come one people enjoy people when they communicate, if you are too shy then forget it people will think you are too proud. When Abhro takes the high notes, it is beautiful beyond words and his style is professional, but can i pay $55 dollars to watch him in a show .Nope I cant. But can i do that for Sameer and Sanchita, "Oh yes". So what am i trying to say, I did not vote for Abhro because his voice did not appeal to me and as a person I have no idea who Abhro is, I know that he sings well but so what I know several people who sing well but they are not all singers.
Now Sameer he is lively, when you see him, he brings a smile to your face, I am not a fan of his voice though, and I know a little about him like he has his brother who is more anxious than him and his sister and dad who come to the show but other than that I know nothing about Sameer. But when he sings his actions bring a smile, but I would pay money to watch him why he is entertaining. But his voice is not great at all but his style is.
Now Sanchita, she I can say is pretty close to an allrounder, I dont know anything about her, but when she sings, she brings a certain amount of confidence in her that is amazing and also she sings in style so i would pay money to watch her.
Now yourself would i pay money to watch you "Yes but only for the first two or three songs" why because you can speak really well, I know who you are, how many members there are in your family, the fact you stayed a little while with your aunt in Mumbai, the fact you like music. If you ask anyone on this forum they know something more about you then their favorite contestant. So what is it that is special about you: to me it is your personality and more importantly your voice. You have a superior quality to voice, very very unique, it is strong base and if you sing alongwith alka yagnik believe me I would buy that song because I know it would sound great. You have a very very strong clear voice, but are you perfect nope you are flat, but you are not monotone. You have some sequence to your voice but you are still very very plain. You have to pick up the way shaan sings or sameer or sanchita sings. You have a great playback voice, but you have to bring the emotions right now. So this is my opinion, I am a business person so i gave you from a business side and a little prespective from the singing side.
So conclusion do i feel sorry for you no. I want you to improve and this training I want you to have so you will. Alka yagnik and Abhijeet asked us to honor singing ability and to you my answer is I am , Would i pay $55 dollars to see you in canada "Nope" because you would bore me to death and that is honestly the truth, I think out of all the contestants Diwakar has the best voice, if you get your ego a little lower than your height, you will see for yourself, he has a great voice which is hard to find but yes it needs to be sharpened, so instead of acting like children on stage kindly do you job by being a judge and helping Diwakar improve as for his votes that you leave it to us, it is none of your business who we vote for and why, you may then what is the point, well the point is the reward is not cash but a training with the professional if it was only cash then i would have voted as you said, but this training is important to Diwakar and in my knowledge he needs it
