Rajkona,

(it is only when one reaches such a low in life that one commits the unthinkable? And in so doing - is he truly tainted beyond redemption? )

Fair point. Most people would have broken at a point far less extreme than what JW endured.

In the circumstances that the tainted soul has gone through, the trauma of loosing his destiny, of having believed all is lost, of loosing both his hope and trust, can one not believe that it is only when one reaches such a low in life that one commits the unthinkable? And in so doing - is he truly tainted beyond redemption?

Like I mentioned earlier, my thoughts are that ...

Redemption may be possible over several rebirths... or such ( as per karma) , but not in this one life of his, for he has sinned more than he has done good.. ( jus an assumption.. for the write up..😊)

His soul may redeeem eventually, but not in this life , and his soul shall remain marred and tainted, for redemption I see as balancing the acts of good and bad, and not erasing the scars!

In light of that, how can he redeem himself in the eyes not only of his own soul and conscience, but of his destiny?

very well written as usual hun! 👏

no-one's soul is purely untainted... if murderers and rapists can lead normal lives often undetected then in comparison jai has done nothing - God not only sees the act, he understands the circumstances and the intentions too... and so he forgives.

jai should not be afraid of judgement from a higher being... it is his own conscience that punishes him the most. 😭

Beautifully said, Majumdar!

Most Gods do forgive, those who repent. A t least my God says he does.

So for Jai there should be a future too, if he repents and if he can understand and forgive himself. For his own feelings of guilt will be a heavy burden. I hope he will soon find his destined again, in real sense and in full senses.

Thanx Sareeta, for yet again a beautiful piece of writing, that leads us to think!

Lot of regards, Maria

Hi Sareeta,

Very well written 👏 I agree with you 100%. I hope Jai could read this, will more tension to his already constipated looks, knowing that he is doomed forever.

Maria Dear, God is God - ever so forgiving, but human beings are not so easily convinced to forgive. The difference lies there.

He does not seem to repent, more intersted in hiding the turth yet again from her. It looks like he is destined to be her guilty forever, if not regarding PR raaz, then this.😆

I think you are right Shish, so far he doesn't repent actively and therefore has to live with the burden. Good point. 😛
