For now reality wasn't present, they both forgot that it was only moments ago that one being had taken something precious from the other, they both forgot that their tender hearts were still jaded with the past, but that didn't matterOh what a beautiful story! You have a done a fabolous job weaving in Arnav's resentment, anguish, pain and guilt over the loss of his wife. His guilt to revive the last hope for Khushi's sight marred his being and how beautifully he orchestrated his body to dance his pain away. And, our dear Khushi, the epitome of effervescene, guides his eyes to what he doesnt want to see: that there is a beautiful world, unexplored, that can only be seen without the eyes.!There is a poem by Rumi that I read a while back that describes the array of emotions you have displayed in this story"An eye is meant to see things.
The soul is here for its own joy.

A head has one use: For loving a true love.
Feet: To chase after.

Love is for vanishing into the sky. The mind,
