Tears of anguish………Tears of anger……….Tears from tear gas

Which tears should we give importance to?

Tears from tear gas…because we live in a civilized society where the police and law makers are just doing their jobs? Protesting was not a civilized enough and so has to be disbarred…

Tears of anger…angry we are; angry over the brutalization of a woman, angry at our own failure to prevent such an act, angry over the loss of humanity…

Tears of anguish...tears of pain…A night out leading to physical torture and mental agony; a life time of pain…

The person who sheds the tears of anguish has shown us resilience and a fighting spirit…should we not take the tears of anger and show resilience and a spirit to be one voice and fight this evil? Shouldn't the tears from tear gas be used to be a deterrent to prevent the crime instead of used against the voice that protests such a heinous act?

Will the tears of anger bring justice to the tears of anguish? Will the people behind the crime who showed no compassion, no humanness (not a single one of them), will they be duly punished? And what punishment will be considered just?

We cannot let the tears dry…we cannot let the spirit die…

(Politicians need to understand that...This is not about politics, This is not about shunning responsibility..This is not about pointing fingers...This is about responsibility, This is about the girl who has been wronged ..This is about bringing justice...

I just hope and pray that the politics does not sway people from what is right, what is human thing to do)
