I don't know Shashi. I really hope its not credible. That girl does not deserve such gruesome pain. But the doctors said they have not seen such a horrific case of rape in 30 years so I am not sure. I only hope it was not that gory.

The DEATH penalty is the only short term solution ---@ The awareness and school education we are talking about will take years ----who is going to protect these women in the mean time ? ----

currently, THERE must be general rape cases pending verdict in courts already ---just take 15 of those --and immediately hang those rapists -----and that will SCARE the shit out of half the people ---and it will work like a short time solution --@ Anything other than death panelty will suck ----because if you give them a life imprisonment or something ---they are bound to influence courts with bribes and get out of the jail sooner @ --

Talking about this incident ---there was a similar incident in a village in Maharastra 5-6 yrs ago---where a DALIT woman and her daughter --were raped in daylight infront of everyone ------they were beaten and paraded naked ---/ And same thing --with the iron rods --yucks / I remember this because I was on a trip to India and they had shut down some transport services for few hours as a protest --@ ---

and when you actually google now, there are still such cases being reported --- Women being paraded naked in villages seems to be a common news (google, if you dont believe) / ---

Forced sex should be treated as the worst crime / ----

My God! What kind of assholes live in that city! 🤢 How can they attempt to gang rape a woman so freely in a public place?! 😲Thank heavens the cops took it seriously and stopped it before anything serious could happen! That poor woman.

Disgusted, nauseated ..All these words cant even describe my rage for the past two days. There has to be death penalty for such animals. & 7yrs RI is nothing as punishment for their crimes.

Fast courts should be set up and timely justice delivered. As such we hardly execute anyone[ still stuck in british raj's hanging method] there are no hangmen in india. I say auction these animals to be excecuted. Whoever pays the highest price gets to kill them the way they'd like and the money goes to the victim. I for one shall be ready with my rifle.

Pragmatically more police presence is needed; better self defence laws are to be implemented and we as society need to rise up. The day we all stop closing our eyes to other victims and understand our family could be next or better yet see society as extension of family would be the day we all can claim to be civilized.
