Ever since Shilpa Shetty made her e-mail ID public, her inbox has been looking like a marriage portal

Shilpa Shetty who made her e-mail ID public recently was bombarded with nearly 2500 mails in three days; clocking an average of a mail a minute. And guess what, most of the mails in the inbox are marriage proposals and love letters.

Currently shooting for Anurag Basu's Metro with Kay Kay and Shiney Ahuja, the actress spends her leisure time glued to her laptop checking mail. "It's really amazing to discover that so many people love you," says Shilpa. "Some of the mails are hilarious, though. People just don't give up. I want to make it clear that my e-mail ID is meant to facilitate interaction with my fans; this is not a marriage portal."

After the genuine mails have been screened by Shilpa's assistant, the actress replies to them personally. "Some of these mails are from people in need of some assistance or help. I'll try to help them," she says.

I think she shud be kind in all her replies. It was Shilpa who gave here mail id to the public, and now wen they send her their appreciations she shud not anwer their mails like an actress but she shud reply to them like a Human being first.
After all she is not a successful actor. 😡

BUt I am confused. Why did she give her email ID to public. Does she have so much time to intercat with her fans. Besdies, I agree it is her decision to interact so she should have expected a lot of junk mails. 😕 Actually these mails are very decnt. She could have gotten something very indecent too. 🤢
