DOTW: A Failed Marriage. Your take on it?

Its time for another Discussion of the Week! This time for the DOTW, we ask for your personal take on Kunal and Natassha's marriage!

Marriage is one of the most heavy and important word for the people. Kunal and Natassha are married after the one year leap in the show but as we all know, they are not happy. So what is your take on this unsuccessful marriage?

What is the reason behind the unsuccessful marriage of Kunal and Natassha?


Whose fault is it? Is Kunal to blame for never giving Natassha a chance? Or is Natassha to blame for never understanding Kunal and not accepting that he has changed?


Is there any hope for their marriage? Or is seperating, the best solution for them at this point of their marriage?


What was a bigger mistake of Kunal and Natassha: To marry each other when they knew there wasn't love between them? or Never/rarely giving a chance to their relationship after their marriage?

Well, a combination of things. Kunal initially thought that he was in love with Natasha, but that wasn't love, it was an infatutation. He was truly in love with Nimmo, which was what changed him and made him a better man. Kunal and Natasha shouldn't have married in the first place, because they were never really in love. And I am not saying that two people cannot make a marriage work even if they aren't madly in love with each other, but it does help! The problem is, Kunal never got over Nimmo, and Natasha was just second best.

Neither, and both at the same time. It is not individual differences that are the fault - its the fact that they KNEW they were too different, they were not compatible. When their relationship was practically over before the leap, what was the need to go back into it and get married? They knew, even if Natasha was faking the "I hate Kunal" scenario, that they just weren't right for each other. At least, Kunal knew it. He married Natasah out of spite, because Nimmo left.

Well, there is hope - if Kunal can forget Nimmo, which doesn't seem likely.

Both. They shouldn't have married in the first place, but when they did, they should have tried harder to make each other happy.

kunu was married to Nims first and fellin love with her good qualities that she had in her.😛😛 He admired her for encouraging him😊😊 unlike Nats discouraging him in his time of needs😡😡. Nims was always there for him even if it was a contract marriage (well she did not have to do it she could have ended her marriage right there) but instead she supported him and showed him a new perpective of life and gave his life a new meaning😭😭.I dont like her for changing my Kunu I loved my sweet confused kunu I MISS him so much these days. Maybe he is looking for all those qualities that Nims had in Nats. And he must have just married Nats for sake of his family but he still loves Nimmo and cannot forget her no matter how much he tries to hide his feelings from everyone. i think he should just get separated from nats.

Kunal made mistakes , learnt from them virtually grew in front of Nimmo.
Their initial dislike for each other made the worst come out so that the only way open for them from the beginning was that of improvement.
When one shares ones fears and weaknesses with someone an unsaid bond of trust and an unfelt feeling of dependency results as a consequence.
Nimmo took Kunal as he was an didnt expect him to change. Maybe change his point of view bout things and life but not change himself in general. So when he professed his love for her it was most natural for her to feel that hes confusing friendship, companionship and maybe even gratitude for love. After all confusion was kunals second nature.
As for kunal marrying Nats- we shouldnt frget tht too many things happened at once with him. he couldnt outright reject Nats after dadaji himself said tht Nats ws instrumental in bringing th drama to a close.

The character of Kunal has gone from carefree to bitter.
and maybe its a natural consequence.(even nims has gone bitter i must say). nats is th way shes always been.
conventionally speaking , kunal should work hard towards making his marriage work. and so should nimmo towards making her life work.
But then again , losing ones love and living with this is not easy. it does make people either indifferent or bitter.
kunal and nims should sort it out what they want and not make a mess by waiting for things to happen by themselves. many people wil be hurt by the delay.

The reason of this marriage is that when Kunu found out that when Kunu became poor only Nims supported him because unlike Nats she never knew that it was all a sham

Seperation is the best solution for them at this point so dat Nims can finally tell Kunu how she feels...

To marry each other when they knew there wasn't love between them because if they get married it would naturally lead to a bad r/ship

I think maybe Nats and Kunu are acting so dat Nims can get jealous and tell Kunu how she feels...

I get the feeling that Ekta is slightly inspired by KANK with this post leap story.

I am one who believes in the sanctity of marriage so I feel the bond should not be broken except under extreme circumstances of abusive partners. Hence, I think Kunal and Nats should both try harder to make their marriage successful. Kunal should stop getting all nostalgic and revering his past, he should accept his present and be loyal to Nats. After all, no one had forced him to marry Nats in the first place.

All this business about them not loving each other anymore is too fickle and its only due to them losing that understanding that they had once shared. Now the lack of the latter, is creating distances between them so they need to let go of their egos and discuss things like mature adults. Kunu-Nats need to work on becoming friends, as that is why Kunal-Nims relationship worked as they were good friends first and foremost.

If Nimmo is wise she will leave Kunal well alone, otherwise if she gets close to him again, it will fill the void in his life, left by his broken down marriage with Nats.
