Chapter 11
Viren walked into the dining room and was surprised to see the table cleaned up and the room empty. He looked around the living room and study but Swamini was no where to be seen.
"Viren you done with your breakfast?" Jeevika walked in the living room wearing an off-white shirt with a black blazer paired with a bootleg demin pants, accesoried with a purple belt and a purple flowered scarf with purple ankle-lenght boots. Her hair tied up neatly in a high pony-tail. Viren turned to see her standing across the living room.
"You going to some fashion show?"
"Nooo. Why?"
"Then why are you so dressed up? Have you seen Badi Maa?"
"Uff Viren you can never say anything good about me. She is in her room," she huffed and walked towards Swamini's room. Viren raced behind her and started walking next to her.
"Aww my baby!"
"Shut up!"
"You sure?"
"Yes. You better not say a word till I tell you. Irritating person I hate you.!" Viren smirked at her comment and silently followed her to Swamini's room. Jeevika knocked the door.
"Come in!"
"Good morning Badi Maa"
"Morning Jeevika. Where had you two been?" Both of them entered the room and saw Virat, Manvi and Rahul already seated there. Viren smiled at Swamini, silently wishing her. "Viren where were you?"
Viren looked around the room while Jeevika switched her view between Swamini and Viren, staring nervously. Virat looked at the two and a smile appeared on his face. "Bua bhai was busy last night. Actually very busy. Right bhai?"
Viren gave Virat a I-am-gonna-kill-you look and nodded his head.
"Really Viren? What kept you busy last night?"
"Love" Virat whispered to himself, smiling all this while.
"What?"
Virat realized that he had been way too loud and looked up to see all the eyes in the room directed at him. "Lovvve. LY. Lovely. Lovely Singh, his client. Bhai had been working hard on her yesterday's whole night. Right bhai."
Jeevika blushed as she realized what Virat actually intended to say. Viren stared at Virat who was trying miserably to control his laughter.
"Anyways wish you good luck with your case. So I don't think you will be able to join us on today for shopping. Jeevika your in right?"
Jeevika looked at Viren expectantly. She wanted him to come. "Yes Badi Maa. Who else is coming?"
"Great! It is going to be Manvi, Virat, Rahul and you."
"Bhai you can take out some time. You can work on Lovely's case while shopping." Virat winked. Jeevika turned to hear Viren's reply but he stood there silently.
"Viren."
Viren looked at Swamini.
"Why aren't you saying something. Is everything alright!"
Viren smiled slyly and nodded his head. Jeevika closed her eyes in anger as she realized why Viren had been quiet all this while. Why does he do this? He seriously loves to tease her. He is a master in teasing her. Well that is the only thing he has been doing since childhood. Teasing her!
"Viren say something," she said in a low crossed tone.
"Something!" Viren shouted out loud. Everyone in the room looked at Viren in sheer astonishment except Jeevika who clenched her fists and closed her eyes fuming. Virat finally unable to control it burst out laughing. Viren smiled as he say Jeevika
"What is wrong with all of you today?" Swamini bellowed, all confused at the strange behaviour.
"Badi Maa I will go shopping as well. I need to buy some stuff."
"For yourself or for Lovely?"
"Virat mere bhai. Control yourself!"
"Viren is Lovely some special client?"
"Yes Bua! Actually very special! No Bua I think Lovely is bhai's most important case in his whole life. Right Bhai?"
"Right Virat. I think you better leave now before I..."
"Okay okay I will leave you and your Lovely. I need to get ready." Saying this Virat hurried himself out of the room, laughing.
"Viren what is all this? Who is Lovely?"
"Nothing Badi Maa. You know Virat just likes to fool around. I will get ready for shopping."
"Okay you go Viren. Jeevika. Rahul. I need to talk to both of you."
