Ok i am a friend of mahi's and a huge fan of her works. I have read LI and have been watching the show recently. i've not seen it from start though. i do agree that there are certain plots that are very similar to the situations in LI. Right from the way he forces her to marry him coz shes in need of money till he claims to the entire house that he trusts madhu more than anyone else.
i agree with some of the people here who say that it may be a coincidence and two writers creativity can clash. However, as a writer it is still painful to see something like this happen. Also, she has not claimed that they have copied it for sure. it was an observation which has been put forth so that you guys can see for yourself and give your opinions. so please donot bash anyone here, coz noone is bashing the show or the actors.
secondly, this is not the first time that mahis work has been copied. On IF there have been other forums where her work was copied and pasted. I myself have reported it twice to the moderators to take action. She is a very talented writer and all her works are amazing. shes very passionate about her work and hence it hurts.
for those who are saying that people should watch the show before judging, i agree. But i would also like to add that everyone should read the FF too before disagreeing. even after reading it if you feel that the allegation is irrelevant then your opinion will be duly noted. And you will also get to read one of the best FF's that i've read on IF, trust me. No harm in that :)
