The new serial on Colors TV tentatively titled as Shikhar has already been making headlines. The story of the show is based on the movie Mughal-e-Azam which is an incomplete love story. Gorgeous actress Drashti Dhami is supposed to play the role Madhubla played in the movie Mughal-e-Azam while Vivian Dsena (Pyaar Ki Kahaani fame) has been selected for playing the role of Dilip Kumar.

However, Vivian Dsena was not the first choice for the show Shikhar. Karan Singh Grover aka Dr. Armaan from the show Dil Mill Gayye was offered to play opposite Drashti Dhami in Shikhar but due to some personal issues he could not play. Hence, Vivian Dsena bagged this role.

And the show Shikhar is expected release after IPL.

they decided to change the name 1 week before the promo were released.

SO HOW SHOCKING THIS ARTICLE WAS FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T READ IT EARLIER???

Why would it be shocking??😕

Anyway, KSG is obviously good, but VD made the character of RK so real that I can't even imagine any other actor play this role.

I'm happy no matter how it would have went...love KSG and DD so it would have been awesome, but I'm locing DVD and KSG in QH too...so all's well that ends well...now if I can jut get DD and KSG to perform together somewhere...I'll be in heaven!

yes dat always happens. there was a article that for ipkknd khushi's role was to be played by shraddha arya and arnav's role by ksg. but both turned down the offers and sanaya and barun were selected.

well whatever i was more than happy with the outcome though.

even madhubala i cannot imagine anyone else than vivian as rk.
