The episode starts with Mr. Kushal calling Jai while he is at the party, drinking away to glory. The lawyer reminds that Jai has to send the divorce papers to him by the next day itself, so that he can initiate the proceedings and finish them off fast. Jai is angry yet he tells him that he will sign the papers tomorrow and send it to the lawyer's office. Kushal further tells Jai that when the papers were filed initially, Bani and her lawyer, Tarun Sablok had sought alimony for 50 % or 60 % of Jai's property and wealth and … Before he could finish, Jai erupts in rage and shouts at Kushal over the phone telling that he doesn't want to listen to all this and that he should not be disturbing him in Dubai too. And that Jai didn't want Kushal to call him again. He then disconnects the phone.
Pia hears Jai's side of argument and rushes towards him. But he thwarts her off and tells her that he doesn't want to speak to her anything about that. He keeps on drinking. Another man accosts Jai and asks him as to where Mrs. Walia is. Jai gets all worked oup and gives him a blasting too, asking him whether he was only interested in discussing his personal life. The man mumbles an apology and asks him to cool down. Pia tries to follow him but fails to locate him. She asks a man who shows her the direction in which Mr. Walia had headed to. Pia asks for a car and then drives to the hotel.
Jai is shown entering the elevator already struggling with his steps already. He is remembering Bani as the AADAT music plays in the background. He gets off on the designated floor and tries to struggle towards his room. At that moment, Pia also comes and runs to him, after seeing that he is nearly tottering. Jai tries to brush off Pia but she is insistent. Jai tries to open the door of a room to which Pia says that he's trying to open the door of a different room. She guides him to his own room. Once inside, she tries to stop Jai from drinking, who starts drinking immediately from the decanters kept inside his room.
Jai once again thwarts her advances and tells her that he does not wish to hear anything from her since it is she and her sister who is responsible for destroying his life and for making him w man who has been left behind and alone by people. He goes on to say that the relationship he shared with Bani was that of sharing each other's pain, which according to him was the greatest relationship that can be formed between two individuals. However, Pia tells him that they shared this relationship of pain because of her – she was the painful reason of his life and also in Bani's life. That she was his love and she was responsible for everything that had happened, and not her sister. That's why they connected easily. Jai tells her that both of them had taken away a lot from him and was only interested in his money – as a result Pia did not care for him when she ran away from the altar and Bani killed their child. As a result, Jai was all alone. He also says that Pia is mainly responsible for this situation since his present state is due to her. When Pia tries to reason with him saying that he was crossing borders, Jai taunts her by saying that how can she say this to him, when in reality its them who have crossed their borders, now and then. Jai tells her that all this is because he thought when he met Pia that probably he could love someone, then Pia ran away and he was married to Bani. Bani showed him how to live with another individual, find hope in life and feel for that person.
He thrusts the divorce papers in Pia's hand and tells her that after the divorce is over, he doesn't want to see either Bani or Pia's face during his entire lifetime. He then starts moving towards the door when Pia again tries to stop him. He pushes her away and leaves the room. Pia bumps her head on the wall and loses consciousness.
Bani is shown in her room talking to Pushkar saying that since its KC day, she wants to share every moment of the day with Mr. Walia and see his face the foremost when the moon comes out. Pushkar tells her that though Mr. Walia is not with her, yet the fact that she loves him a lot is enough to erase the distance between them. He also tells her that the divorce papers will be taken care of and there's no need to panic. Bani smiles at this and looks down longingly at the container of vermilion in her hand.
Jai is shown drinking once again, this time at the bar of the hotel. The aadat song plays in the background and Jai is shown remembering Bani, during good times and bad times too. He remembers the consummation night as the scenes replay in his mind.
After a while, he goes back to his room and begs Pia's forgiveness for being too harsh with her, only to be met with her prone figure on the ground. He helps her sit up and tells her sorry for hurting her, since she now sports a bruise on her left temple. Pia tells him not to feel sorry to which Jai says that he is an unlucky person who has been thwarted by love time and again, and this also held true for his mother. In frustration, he swings his arm as a result of which a statuette falls down from the table and he hurts his fingers. Pia is beside him and tells him that he should not consider himself unlucky or alone, since she loves him a lot. Jai is bewildered and tries to walk away but Pia holds him back.
Pia proceeds to kiss his hand and tells him that today she is willing to wipe away all his hurt and loneliness and lose herself in him. She wraps her arms around him tightly and asks him to feel her heart which is saying again and again that she loves him only and that she will erase away his hurt forever. Jai controls himself with immense will power and again tries to move away. Pia then asks him to feel the heartbeat of the night which is omnipresent and again moves into his arms chanting 'I Love You' again and again. Jai tries hard to control himself but eventually he wraps his hands around Pia and slides his hands on her back. His face registers the pain he is going through. The image slowly fades away.
On the other side, a strong wind blows and the sindoor container falls from Bani's hand, scattering the vermillion in every direction. She is very apprehensive and bends down. She touches the scattered vermillion with her hand and her eyes water. Pushkar stands helplessly.
