Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus is an unique yet common story where the problem of modern women is shown clearly.

Sandhya (Deepika Singh) is a modern women with education and dreams to become IPS officer. As the same time she has Indian moral values due to which she wants her in laws to be happy with her.

Sandhya felt hurt in last episode when she gets to know that Sooraj (Anas Rashid) didn't told her about Bhabho's wish to make her learn stitching last night when she went for her class.

Sandhya tells Sooraj that she has decided to become a good housewife along with a good student. Sandhya wants that Bhabho be proud of her and she can fulfill her responsibilities.

In the coming episode Sandhya will decide to wash clothes. She will beat clothes so much that a Kurta will tear to some extent.

Meenakshi will see her and wonder what happened that Sandhya is working so hard. Sandhya will wonder how it happened.

Even I did not get the purpose of this article. However the way her college classes are going with one subject per day it will definitely take her 3 to 4 years to complete graduation. The pace at which she is learning household work it will not take her less than 10 years to learn. So the conclusion would be IPS in 5 years and Adarsh bahu in 10 hopefully. So serial kitne saal chalega batao. batao...😉
