Aarti Should Be Blamed More Than Prashant!

To be honest I blame Aarti more than Prashant. If she hadn't lied to Yash in the first place, none of this would be happening. Instead of telling Yash the truth, she's increasing her own stress level, making herself vulnerable to his suspicion's later on, and is putting him in a position to be really heartbroken when the truth comes out. There's nobody to blame but herself.
Aarti not wanting to lose Yash doesn't justify what she is doing in any way. Just because it's easier to hide the truth doesn't make it right. Since Yash is such a great man, it should be easier for her to tell him, but she's choosing to hide the truth and uses the 3rd BMT as an excuse. Who knows, even after the 3rd BMT happens and Yash doesn't find out yet yet, how much longer will she stall the truth?
I've been in a position where someone who was very, very close to me lied about something huge. Something I had the right to know. But they hid that, and I never forgave them. I'm kind of like Yash in that sense, I hate lies.
You shouldn't ever lie to your love interest about something so big, so I can't forgive Aarti for lying to Yash, and I'm not expecting him to forgive her easily either.

Yes, what Prashant is doing isn't right either, but at least he is clear about what he wants to do. He wants Aarti and Ansh back. Aarti wants Yash's love, but she doesn't realize that she would only deserve his love once she comes clean to him. Prashant isn't a saint. He isn't right in any way either, but I don't hate Prashant because Aarti had it coming. She dug her own grave. Prashant's nature is like this, but Aarti's bad decisions put herself in this position to be taken advantage of.

Yeah, I agree. Prashant is a despicable character but Aarti is nowhere innocent or blameless. She dug her own grave from the very start. Even Yash was always truthful to her in regards to Arpita. He told her honestly that he loved his first wife and married her only for his kids. Later on he fell in love with her but he was always honest, whereas Aarti started this marriage with lies.

Maybe I'm just having problems assigning blame, but I think faulty logic was used on both Aarti's and Prashant's parts. Aarti is working under the assumption that what she is doing is right by the Dubey's and she constantly keeps upping their ammo by allowing herself to be led by them, believing they actually have her best interest at heart. When that is rapidly proving not to be the case. At this point I find her frustrating because she won't stand up for herself and her unborn baby. Whatever consequences she has to face with Yash she will surely have to face and as a woman she needs to be prepared for that. She made some very bad decisions and she has no other option but to try and live with the outcome. Whatever debt she feels she owes the Dubeys has surely been paid. But now she has endangered the life of the baby she says she wants badly and for that reason alone she should get rid of the burden of the Dubeys.
Prashant on the other hand is being true to who he is... a very myopic little man with entitlement issues. He can't see why Aarti wouldn't want him back or why he shouldn't get her back. He made mistakes , he's not real sure what they were but everyone said he did so he must have and everyone else is happy so why not him? Everyone should sacrifice so that Prashant is happy and if they don't... well he'll just take his ball and go home.
And then there's Yash ... I could like a guy like him but I sure would hope that he were a little... never mind he's perfect and that could just be the problem.
This whole thing is like a giant game of "keep away" and Yash is the only one who doesn't know the truth that is rapidly unraveling around him. And still I can't really bring myself to assign blame.

Oh Saffi, you read my mind so clearly. Aarti hiding the truth is really bothering me maximum level. I really don't see it's her majboori but she is making it her majboori. You can try to justify that she's doing this as she's under oath. But WTH, what's the point of an oath which will destroy your life and trust the other person has on you. I really want her to tell the truth and honestly I feel the truth will only come out unintentionally and not aarti confessing and really coming clean about it. She's too scared that she'll loose him but guess what by hiding like this, what is she planing to reap? In fact she hiding the fact that she more than knows Prashant, will result in the seed of doubt being planted in Yash's mind as to whether she still loves Prashant or not. She's digging her own grave and true I DON"T want yash to forgive her easily. Let her know it's wrong and let Yash get super pissed off.

Even I've been in the same situation as you where someone so damn dear to me hid something that I deserved to know. I even asked that person a million times as I had a hunch that something was going on, but that person denied like crazy and when the truth came out, I was shattered into pieces. This happened 5 years back but until now it's still fresh in my mind. I could never trust her anymore and it caused major indifference in our friendship that now we're just like acquaintances (if you can even call it that). Lies destroy everything and it plants the seed of doubt so deep that you can never trust the person the same. There will always be the question of really?seriously?is she/he telling the truth? so yup aarti should be blamed for her deeds.

U R absolutely right, even i have the same feeling and whatever Aarti is doing by entertaining Prashants doings and more than that by hiding the truth and frequently saying lies is not acceptable for any person and a person like Yash who hates lies shudn't forgive Aarti for all these things

This time what aarti did can never be forgiven by Yash so easily. He tried his level best to make her comfortable to talk abt her problems nth times. But she herself failed to do that and now by allowing prashant to enter her life is the last thing she did to destroy her own peaceful and happy married life.
Poor Yash. When he will come to know abt this bitter truth he will be heart broken. Now he blivs aarti more than himself but after this truth perhaps he will go back to his world of darkness again.

I am Totally Agree with you..This is Totally Aartis Fault and She Should get Punishment for this...
I think She Knows Prashanth Very Well Better than any one..She loved him Most...So How can She Make her self Excuses and Hide the Truth...I am Not at All going to Pity for Aarti...
She Deserves all the Blames by Scindhya Family and Yash also...

saffi,

totally agree with you
arati is just taking advantage of yash's goodness
she should have told him the truth much earlier
but her way of leaving/ hiding this important truth from yash
is not acceptable at any circumtances
a lie is a lie
she very well knows yash hates lie
if her love for yash is true then she should have trusted him and told him the truth much earlier
at least before prashant's BMT

yash has total right to be angry with arati
she deserves his aloofness now
