Well, I felt it was ok that he used the 'WTH' phrase esp considering all the frustration he was in. But I'm not sure if it is right acc to Asad since he is supposed to be very particular about tahzeeb...

I've qualified NET and have my JRF exam on 31st.I simply pray that I might qualify JRF so that Ph.D. becomes easier for me.

i felt that the language was in total with the character and hell in my opinion is not a swear word. I hear it all the time in New York which is probably why. And out of frustration it totally made sense...i dont think any other english phrase could have worked better.

JRF/NET are national level tests for becoming eligible for lectureship.By qualifying JRF, I'll be able to get scholarships and get thru the top institute's Ph.D. programme
