Rano: Maaji, hum appko bata nahi sakte k apne hum pe kitnaa badaa ehsaan kiya hai yeh naukri deke... aur hum kabhi apko niraash nahi hone denge, yeh waada hai humara. Dadima just affectionately nodded and called Nakul who guided the mother-daughter duo towards their new aashiyaana.

Unknown to all them there were two eyes that were watching all those happenings in the garden hiding behing a pillar, and was continuousely staring at the small muddy angel who seemed more like a small squirrel peeking listening to the convo of the ladies intently now and then pulling her maa's pallu pouting as she was feeling cold.

Maan just kept keenly observing the two new people in their mansion, among whom, the small girl was an exception. Her small small antic's were attracting him. As he saw the two coming towards the mansion following Nakul, he immediately hid himself.

Here Nakul was busy briefing the two about their new home, Geet again was lost looking at the room, which seemed far better than their last home, which was in one of the dirty chawls. Though their new room was just a simple room with a single bed in mid, and with other requirements such as an attatched washroom and a small cupbord, few chairs and a table, but it was a real paradise for them...

Geet: Maa dekho humara apnaa bathroom,

she shouted in excietment to Rano as in their old chawl, they had to use the common toilet...
Rano just affectionately brushed geet's wet hairs back while her eyes got
moistened realizing that till now how her little baby was deprived of all those basic comforts...

Just like any other mom, she too wanted to provide her baby with all the comforts and luxuries... provide her a princess life but destiny was never in their favour. Just few months aftr Geet's birth her father Mohinder passed away in an accident leaving both of them alone. Though they lived in their big haveli of Hoshiyarpur where Mohinder's father was the sarpanch of the village but just aftr death of Mohinder, Daarji kicked the duo out of the haveli as he never was in favour of Rano-Mohinder's love marriage... and his dislike towards Rano led him to do such inhuman act of throwing his DIL nd few months old grand daughter out of the Haveli forcing them to face the harsh reality of the world...
Then for roaming in the streets of Delhi for many days Rano finally found a small accomodation for themselves in an old chawl for which she had to sell her gold bangels, their last bit of money was drawn out of it and later Rano took few household jobs and earned bits taking that months old Geet with her to work.
It was a hard phase for both of them, but this advertisement about requirement for a nanny in the KM was ray of hope for Rano, and now finally she can give her baby a normal life.
Rano was finally brought out her thoughts with a soft whimper from Geet. Rano panicked seeing Geet cry

Rano: Geet beta kya huya apko???? app roo kyoo rahe ho?

Geet(sobbing): kyoonnkk Geet kk..ii ma.aa bhi.i ro.yyii

Rano: Baccha... hum ro thodi rahe they.... she said hugging Geet close while rubbing her back to sooth her while Geet instantly hid her face in Maa's neck.

Rano: Ssshh, chalo abb koi nee royeegaa... aur apko nehlana bhi toh tha... Uff hum bhi naa bhul hi gaye. Abb chalo jaldi warnaa thand lagg jayegi. She said picking Geet up and entered the washroom while Geet giggled seeing her maa blabbering in panic and just kissed her cheek shutting Rano. Rano just smiled at her doll and then resumed giving her a shower.

Here in KM hall-
Dadima was sitting on the sofa as she saw Maan entering the hall from the direction of garden. Confused she asked him

"Maan bete app waha bahar kyaa karr rahe they?"

Maan realized he's caught now and tried defending himself by saying

"Wo... wo daa..di mei Fluffy ko dhundne gaya tha" Daadima gave him a teasing smile realizing that the figure she noticed hiding behing the pillar was none other than Maan... but then to play along she just said

"ohh, bete fluffy kahi nahi jayega, aa jayega thodi der mei, lekin app jaldi se frsh hoke aa jayiye kyonk appko hum kisi se milwaane wale hai" Maan getting confused asked "kaun Daadi"

"uff oh Maan, thodi der sabr rakhiye, jald hi milwa denge hum apko usse, apki nayi friend se"

listening the word Nayi friend, maan's heart suddenly rejoiced and his mind went to that small unknown girl... wishing that the 'friend' to be the same girl he saw few minutes back... but then hiding his excietment he just went up towards his room to frshen up before meeting that friend...

In Maan's bedroom-
He was just out from the washroom, and was struggling with the huge cupboard door, which he was unable to open with his weak hands... lack of nutrtion since his parents death was making him helpless... Finally as he succeeded in opening the cupboardd, another problem propped up, since his clothes were kept in the upper section, he couldnt reach them... Helplessness was taking a toll on the small boy as he dejected sat on his bed burrying his palm in his hands, crying silently for
his mother to come back again and cocoon him in her protective arms, as she used to do alwayss. So ironical it was, the boy who never stepped down his mother's lap, whose each and every needs were fullfilled by his mother in a click, was here now all alone... no one to embrace him as his mother used to do... though he had his daadima with him who too loved him, but her health too wasnt in good condition since her son and DIL passed away... And a mother's place can never be replaced by someone else.

Just as he sat there in sorrow... his bedroom door opened up with a *THUD* and before he can even react, a tornado like structure entered his room and directly went behind his bed...hiding itself behind the length of his bed. He could just blink his eyes when after sometimes he realized wat actually happened. But then fear engulfed him as he realized that someone was actually behind his bed in HIS room.

Not knowing wat to do, he started screaming Dadi's name while crying in fear, and ran towards the door. As he was running now and then looking backwards towards the bed, his small structure collided with someone and he instantly hugged the person, thinking her as his Daadi...

Daadi too came into the room hearing to Maan's panicked screams and the scene stunned her, her little Maan was there sobbing in Rano's arms as she lovingly patted his back, coaxing him sweetly. nearing them she heard Maan's mumble as Rano asked him about his sudden scream. "Wo..hh. maa.aa bedd.d. k..kee pe.eech.e koi h.aai"

Not realizing that he unknowingly called Rano as "Maa" since he was too
much scared to realize wat he actually was doing. Daadi just came near them and carressed Maan's hair a little who was pressing himself more tightly in his newly found Maa's embrace still unaware.

Daadima: "Maan bacche, kyaa huya? app ro kyo rahe hai??"

While Maan turned around listening to his Daadi's voice and then realized what he was actually doing... He stared at Rano with his eyebrows twitched in confusion and nervousness was claerly visible on his face, and then faced Dadima with same expression, Daadima guessing it sat on her kness and expleined him lovingly while wiping his tears "Maan, yeh Rano hai, apki nanny..."

And Rano just gave him an assuring nod, the warmth and familiar love Rano held made maan a bit comfortable.

"Maan, koi baat nahi, app hume maa bulaa sakte hai" Rano said to maan ,Daadi's smile gave her the courage to do so, as she was scared of daadi's
reaction to it... But Rano's pure heart went away for this little boy who was same age as her daughter. Daughter? BTW where was her little bombarder now? whome she was finding since long time and finally ended up here listening to Maan's scream.

Rano's thoughts were interrupted by Maan's talks with his Daadi
admist those painful sobs, when she heard him telling Daadi about what happened.

"Accha!!!! Kiskee itnee himmat ki woh humare bacche ke kamre ghus ke usey daraa dey? Zaraa hum bhi toh dekhe... ???"

saying this Daadi went ahead towards the bed while Rano followed her with Maan in her arms. Daadi's strict expression turned instantly into a delightful one and she chuckled looking at the person... 😉

PRECAP-

Bechara maan who was standing there all chup chap now finally came into the limelight as Rano and Daadi looked at the forgotten baby,... and that too in what condition 😉...

Geet's words made the elders eyes widened and Maan... ermm
sharam se paani paani.. "Hawww maa dekho, nanguu " Geet said with shocked expression, while Rano and Daadima were stunned at the blunt baby girl.😲

*phew* finally updated part 2... tried making it as good and readable as possible. Pweasee tell me kaisaa hai. bacche ko niraash na karnaa dosto 😭 , each update is of around 2000 words. Otherwise mei updates ki length kam karu
