All the guests at the wedding reception of Vishwajeet Kadam, son of state forest minister Patangrao Kadam, and Swapnali Bhosale (daughter of builder Avinash Bhosale) held in the city on Friday had eyes only for Salman Khan once he made an appearance at around 11 pm.
Dressed in a light pink suit, he superbly carried off the metrosexual look and looked handsome as ever.
Cheers, craning necks and starry eyes greeted the actor at the Balewadi stadium. He was escorted in by security guards and Amit Bhosale, brother of the bride.
Once inside, he, in his trademark style, stole the show! He stayed for 10-15 minutes, after which the groom personally walked with him outside to drop him till his car, despite Salman's attempts to tell him not to leave the celebrations.
Besides Salman, politicos, actors, industrialists and the who's-who of the city turned up to wish the newly-weds. Swapnali was brought to the stage in a palanquin and she looked beautiful in her orange-red-gold sari.
There was constant excitement in the air as celebrities poured in. Riteish Deshmukh and wife Genelia, Suniel Shetty, Madhur Bhandarkar, Bhagyashree, Ajay-Atul Gogavale, Priya Dutt, Sushilkumar Shinde, Pritviraj Chavan, Sharad Pawar, Digvijay Singh, Narayan Rane with Nitish and Nilesh Rane, Raj and Sharmila Thackeray, Shaina NC, Praful Patel, Gopinath Munde, Ajit Pawar, Pankaja Munde Palve, Supriya Sule, Chhagan Bhujbal, K Sankaranarayanan, Manikrao Thakre, Pratibha Patil and Nitin gadkari were present.
