STAR Plus characters give tips to win over your mother-in-law
Our beloved saas-bahu of STAR Plus share a unique love-hate relationship. Do you want to share the same chemistry with your mother in law? Check out some of the interesting tips shared by our bahus to win over you saas.

The would-be mother Gopi says, "You should always communicate and praise your mother-in-law. Ma has been always protective towards me and has helped me a lot. I respect her and always mention the good deeds she has done. I would also suggest you to take her opinion whenever required. She will definitely appreciate your efforts and ultimately this will strengthen your relationship."

The adorable bahu Jeevika share, "You should always be polite when you talk to your mother-in-law and other family members. Don't let her see you in your bad mood.

The chulbuli Maanvi suggests gifting the saas. "You can gift something that she likes such as her favourite flowers, sweets, home decor item and many more. She will definitely treasure your gift," she adds.

When asked to share a tip Akshara says, "Avoid complaining. Although you are not fond of your mother-in-law, don't let her know how you feel about her. Also, don't complain about her to your partner, since he would go and talk to his mother to get things sorted. There are chances that your mother-in-law won't appreciate that. You should always avoid negativity.

Our ideal bahu Sandhya suggests to take things lightly. She adds, "If your mother-in-law criticizes you, don't take it heart. Moreover you should always talk and clarify if there is any kind of misunderstanding. Finally, you should check your body language when you talk to her. You words and body language should always be in sync."

tfs deepa...😃awesome comment by gopi👏
even i think...that you should not think that your MIL is "MIL" but is like your very own mom...and then from that moment itself you will start developing a special bond with your MIL

Gopi knows the way to her Maaji's heart and who knew it would be by appreciation?😆
It is a good suggestion though to keep your MIL informed for that matter, any close one informed on things and tell them how much you value them.

BTW, aren't Sandhya and Akshara saying different thing? I get Akshara's don't crib about your hubby's mother to him and Sandhya's open dialogue speech but why pent up your feelings against your MIL and then talk about it behind her back to your friends and the world instead of telling it to the person who may do something to correct or justify herself ?😕 That is wierd😕

Cool article. Thanks for sharing. 😃

It amazes me how some mil's and dil's do not get along. One would think they care naught for the poor guy caught in-between their vendetta.
