I don't support Purvi, Arjun, or Ovi!

This triangle is so messed up and everyone is guilty of one thing or another!

ARJUN: Let me start with him. He is the person I dislike the most out of the three. He is the biggest culprit in all of this drama, in my opinion. To me, Arjun is simply one thing. He is a coward. He promised to marry Ovi in Canada. He came to India and fell in love with Purvi. His falling in love with Purvi is COMPLETELY ACCEPTABLE. But how he dealt with this situation was absolutely stupid and cowardly!

He doesn't tell Purvi about Ovi. And doesn't tell anything to Ovi. Okay fine, I'll accept that too. But when Ovi throws you a surprise party and your family wants you to get engaged, SAY SOMETHING. MAN UP! NO, he stood there like a deer caught in headlight and made sad/painful faces, which btw earned no sympathy from me!

But you know what? FINE. I decided to give him one more chance at this point! Maybe it wasn't the best idea to bring personal matter out in a party. That's totally fine! But once again, he continued to keep quiet! He ran crying to daddy and asked him to help him. Daddy decides to go on an extended trip and Arjun, the baby, decided to wait for him to return. SPEAK UP DUDE. You love Purvi! Tell Ovi! Tell her family! Sit down with her and explain gently! Don't extend the engagement and act like a victim! At this point, Arjun was the main culprit! Keeping Ovi in the loop while trying to pursue Purvi! A two-timer!

And then his dad came back and he finally told the truth! But he showed absolutely no consideration for OVI! This is where he completely lost my respect! Not an ounce of sympathy, no explanation to Ovi! I thought she was your childhood friend, Arjun. Is this how you treat your friends?! What an honourable person you are!

Moving on to when Ovi and Purvi "struck the deal of doom". Okay fine, Purvi asked you to marry Ovi! You couldn't do anything but follow her orders?! You couldn't say "Purvi, I won't marry you but I won't marry Ovi either!" GROW A BACKBONE!

Marriage is a sacred commitment! After you agreed to marry Ovi, DON'T CHASE PURVI AROUND! It doesn't do your character any favours! And now with the recent developments, ONCE AGAIN we have Arjun, Purvi's loyal pet, following her order and faking through his marriage with Ovi. How old are you?! For the love of God, after declaring your love out in the open, how can you go back to your "marriage"? Grow up and get a divorce. Think for yourself!

OVI: The less said about her, the better. Up until Arjun was two-timing Ovi, I had sympathy for her. But when she decided to strike a deal with Purvi, I stopped caring for her. If you knowingly marry a person that you know loves someone else, don't expect him to magically fall in love with you! No! Deal with the consequences of your decisions. You're getting what you deserve.

PURVI: Really, Purvi is not the angel she pretends to be. She is actually an inconsiderate and conceited person in my opinion.

Once again, I felt terribly bad for Purvi until she didn't know about Ovi and Arjun two-timing her. After she found out about Ovi and didn't want anything to do with the Arjun, she actually earned a lot of respect from me! However, my respect for her went down the drain once she openly formed a relation with Arjun after his engagement with Ovi broke.

Purvi, you are the one who used to sing tunes about family and called Manav "baba" and Sachin "dada". Now let me ask you, DOES THAT NOT MAKE OVI YOUR FREAKING SISTER?! So after the guy who lied to you and cheated your sister breaks his engagement with the said sister, YOU START GOING OUT WITH HIM. Yeah, you're sooo mahaaan! What a respectable girl!

Not only that, you plan to marry him! You say you love your baba and want your mom to have her family, but did you have an OUNCE of sympathy for your sister when you paraded around with your sister's ex and planned TO MARRY HIM?! No, you're not the angel you pretend to be!

Moving on, so you plan to marry Arjun but Ovi decides to trade her mom's love with Arjun and you easily agree. WOW. I mean, sure people call Ovi crazy and selfish, and I totally agree with them. But does this not make Purvi selfish?! It's one thing to NOT marry Arjun but to insist him to marry Ovi is just going far! Whatever, once again, you're not the person who you think you are!

Looking at all of the stupid choices that ALL THREE of these characters have made, I don't blame any single one over the other! This is why I don't understand when people solely blame Ovi. The situation is not black and white. No, all three of them are responsible for creating this mess.

My analogy for this situation is the same as the phrase we all know "dropping an axe on your on feet". In this case, Ovi is the one who handed over the axe to Arjun and Purvi (her deal about marrying Arjun) and Arjun/Purvi were stupid enough to take the axe from Ovi (agreeing to her deal) and drop it on their feet.

Your thoughts? And please let's have a genuine discussion without thinking one person's opinion is more correct than another's.

I wholeheartedly agree. Arjun is the biggest culprit- if only he'd spared some of the vigor and power that he exerts at work for his personal life. I'd, in all likelihood, never give a second chance to Arjun- no matter how much I pined for him- were this real life and were I either Purvi or Ovi.

But nevertheless, Purvi and Arjun really do love each other, however warped their ways of expressing the same might be. And since this is fantasy, I like to indulge and I like to watch them together. I'll leave the tough cookie side of me for real life.

yes all three was in fault, first purvi to get her mother rights sell her love to ovi, and arjun who loves purvi and dont have any feelings for ovi still marry her just to pleased purvi and third but not least ovi, the silly girl who very well known from the begning tht arjun dont love her he has said tht many times and has also not shown any interest in her even bfore meeting purvi, there was a choice for her to use her brain and flatelty refuse to purvi but ovi was also selfish so she deserves what she got now.

I totally agree with you. All three characters are to be blamed for this fiasco. Arjun rubbed his love life with Purvi in Ovi's face without giving a damn about Ovi's feelings.He hid his engagement from Purvi.He listened to Purvi and ruined his happiness by marrying Ovi. He did not seek a divorce from Ovi and followed Purvi's orders and decided to consummate his marriage with his Ovi. He is totally spineless. I wish he had buckled up and divorced Ovi.

Two chances of divorces

one when he realised that by marrying Ovi he has made a terrible mistake ...filing for divorce ASAP before consummation or any expectation of a real marraige set in

second when he made a public declaration of his love for Purvi in a party ...anyways it was out in the open , the marraige was thankfully still unconsummated ...he should have filed for divorce then ,become the bad gouy once and for all , done a lot of apologising and left for Canada ...with or without Purvi

if she still wanted to remain with her Aai , Arjun should have gone alone

instead of the unrealistic Kolkata phase they should have shown a Canada phase with Arjun gone .

I also hold Archana responsible for this mess along with the 3 thoughtless youths

she gave this pyaar encouragement and chose to take sides when she should have put her foot down and told both her daughters to stop this nonsense , that this man would never be welcomed in this house by her as if he married ovi , purvi wud get hurt and if he married purvi , ovi wud get hurt ...either of her kids wud get hurt for a lifetime ...so her advice would be to drop this man as there were other guys available ...still if they wanted to go ahead , she was out of it and the forthcoming misery was not her problem .

Instead we saw her encouraging one daughters pyaar and saying Arjun was sahi for Purvi and rubbing the wedding card on Ovi's face and driving her to sucide

I found this highly , highly immature and to date she has not been pulled up for it although the triangle has turned out to be such a horrid mess .

Pyaar has been greatly over hyped . I am searching for this requirement for a normal marraige ...the way it is shown in PR and i see none around . People r quite sensible and willling to accept change .

Thet r even willing to rectify mistakes . As if marrying Ovi mistakenly to please his domineering girlfriend Purvi was not enough Arjun goes and commits another mistake ...he agrees to sleep with her bcoz the domineering ex now wishes that . Instead of telling the ex i had enuf of ur nonsense , im filing for a divorce and im not just leaving her but you too , thank u for opening my eyes .

Believe me, I despiseddd Archana during that time! She reached an all-time low level of stupidity when she was rubbing Arjun/Purvi's engagement and wedding cards all over Ovi and The Deshmukh's face. She was absolutely heartless! What kind of mother leads to her own daughter's breakdown and almost suicide?! Wow, what a mahaan aurat and what a loving mother!

Siding with one daughter over another was just despicable.

These are three highly irritating characters and 3 actors wasting their time.
