For all those saying, it was Gul Khan that refused to handover copyrights to channel, please see reference post.

A response from 4Lions:

All promotions are looked after by the Channel. They decide when, where and how. The same goes for the songs related to the show - the copyright rests with the channel.

We, as a production house have no say in the matters above.

Got great feedback from Sanaya about how popular IPKKND is in the UK. We really had no idea that it was so huge there! Thanks to you and all the people who watch it!

Hi - Yesterday, I was following a thread about Sanaya's reaction to zoom tv. hetalmkn kept claiming that Barun was requested to leave from the set and wasn't given the chance to shoot for the last episode. She claimed to have talked with Barun and he was India. You asked her to PM you the phone number she called. Did she ever respond?

the story and concept is Gul's na, i think the channel should not have any control over that. It is her brain child, so, i don't know what is all these, but i heard it so. Still I totally don't know what are the rules applicable to such things, just shared what I heard.

for spoilers, just read them, use ur brain, ignore or accept, that is it. It does not affect me much. I have never been after the spoiler. Will comment on some of them. I don't know if they have authentic sources or not, because I don't know how they manage to get news, so cannot comment on that. One thing I know is I stood for my thoughts abt the show and the actor, I could very well do justice to that I believe.

When asked of Sony Head, Sneha Rajani, Senior Executive Vice President & Business Head - SET (SONY Entertainment Television), she also replied that copyrights always lie with the channel. Otherwise, a production house would pull a money making show from one channel and could move to another rival channel.

In that sense it is completely true, but I have the doubt regarding the story. I think she has the full right on that story as it is her brain child. That matter is still ambiguous for me. Please don't take it as an argument dear because my knowledge is zero on this matter.

what about once it is pulled off air?!i am little confused here because in our regional language when a show was abruptly ended,the ph continued show by telecasting in another channel

@deepti di;you know that show na..it was a craze among mid aged keralites

Moloo I think that happened when the channel gave back that right to the PH. I know that show. I heard something like this abt that.

okay,so one thing is clear ipk2 is in hands of channel...i remember even nishi di once said me the same cr is with channel...then what was nishi di pointing to,in today's post..

There are different copyrights.
there is the screenplay, connected to idea and characters, owned by PH. But the episode copyrights are with the channel, which is why SP is the one who blocked all the youtube uploads.

i pmed her and she replied me that its possible to retain bs if we try..the question is with whom vpp is in contract sp or ph..i think its sp,coz sanaya is in contract with sp...this is getting more confusing for me😆
