A Different SLB

Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) is known for romantic, emotional movies and those based on relationships. But, it seems, he's a different person now. Bhansali's next film Ram Leela is indeed a romantic film but it doesn't have his signature style. And we mean this in a good way.

According to people close to him, Ram Leela is not just a romantic film but an intense romance-action film. Yes, there's action in it too. And why just action? The audience will get to watch leading pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone exchanging foul language with each other. There's more! There'll be guns… there will be fist fights too.

And there's more to the new SLB. There will also be some romantic scenes between the leading pair and a few lip-locks as well! Phew!

He should have named the movie Leela-Shetty-Kashyap then.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali bans cell phones on Ram Leela sets

When Sanjay Leela Bhansali found out that sources from his film sets were leaking out working shots of his star cast — Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone — he was mighty upset.

When Sanjay Leela Bhansali found out that sources from his film sets were leaking out working shots of his star cast -- Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone -- he was mighty upset. And in a rage, he ordered everyone to quit using their cell phones and other gadgets while they were present at the shoot venue.

The filmmaker has erected a huge set at Film City in Mumbai where locations from Gujarat have been recreated. "The major portion of the film is being shot here and he was upset to see some of the important working stills being leaked out to the media. Now even the actors on the sets are not allowed to use their phone and other gadgets."

Bhansali is said to be extremely particular about guarding the look of this project and has apparently ordered his cast to leave their phones behind in their vans.

I am waiting to watch a grand..in your face costume drama..complete with thundering villains,dhishum dhishum,big dance and songs sets.. et all😛

but ranbir looks totally yuck. i have a feeling this will go down the drain. BUT, it might do wonders for deepika...i wanted bebo in this one.

I am still confused over DP's look in the film. Can't figure out if the picture leaked was from the sets of YJHD or Ram Leela. But his PR is doing good work. Looking forward to Ram Leela and DP with Hashmi in Kjo-Balaji next.
