I WANTED IT TO BE REAL!!!!!

I know this sire bond business is driving us all crazy. Some good points have been made though...maybe Damon and Elena don't have a sire bond? There are a couple examples of when Elena doesn't seem sired, but there also many times when she listens to Damon right away. I think that either she isn't sired or there sire bond is different from others.

I mean, Elena turned down Damon many times.

He tried to get her off the bridge when she was going to kill herself and she said no.

He told her to call Stefan, but she didn't...he had to call him instead.

He tells her to "pick her meal" from the people in the Grill and she doesn't.

Julie Plec has been quoted saying that the sire bond exists between the two BUT she said that it doesn not affect love and sex. (YAYYY)

Basically, JP has been saying that Damon will want to let Elena go because he will think that everything that happened between them was due to the sire bond and he's always WANTED IT TO BE REAL. Elena will possibly try to win Damon back because she knows that it's real.

We might finally see Elena chasing after Damon.

So maybe this sire bond thing isn't too bad after all? ;)
