HT-Akshara as businesswoman

Come December 3, and Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will take a five-year leap. The Star Plus show that has been doing well for over three years now, will see many changes. With Friday's episode ending with doctors claiming they can't save Naitik (Karan Mehra) after his accident, from Monday onwards, audiences will see Akshara (Hina Khan) in a new look with her hair tied up and pulled to one side and a demurely-draped sari. A source claims, "Akshara will be totally transformed from a housewife, as after the leap she will be a working woman. The audiences might be fooled into thinking Naitik is dead but later it will be revealed that he has been in a coma for five years. As both the elders in the house, Dadaji and Natik's dad are unable to work, Akshara will come forward and run the business. She will balance work and home but her son Naksh will feel more comfortable with his grandma Gayatri and will be closer to her than his mother."
