How can they just let her leave?

It amazes me that Purvi is able to just pack her bags and leave! Do they not care where she is going, if she has money or even if she will kill herself (which we know won't happen) . But still! They just cry that she is leaving. Would anyone not stop her and say you can't just leave?
Sorry for the rant guys...just seems so unrealistic.
