In a desperate attempt to give Tej a romance and Savita something else to do since she can not longer bully and harrass her daughter-in-law, the writers decided to bring the sing song (I say this by the way they talk) to the chawl. That's fine, bring in new characters, but seriously the mayhem caused by them puts me to sleep.

The romance between the two - Tej and this new guy - is so dull I just switch off. A more interesting romance would have been Tej with a nerdy guy who was also a wimp. That would have been funny to watch. When you have to very polar opposite characters, that alone can make a romance interesting to watch - even if you have C grade writers.

This romance and the ridiculous arguing, which is not in the least bit funny, is painful to watch. Shouting and talking with silly sing song voices (and it's not their accent that is a problem, it's the overdoing of it with the sing song tone), is annoying and not in the least bit funny. I don't know why Indians think over acting compensates for bad dialogue and poor character development and a bad storyline.

Yupp I agree a bit.Tej with the nerdy guy would be awesome.But alas cvs

Me too. The whole Tej track is boring. But then again I never really liked Tej tracks all along. Somehow I never liked her "tom-boy image" etc from the very beginning and of course about over acting less said is better. Just irritating for me. I hoped she will improve because she is a positive character in the story but that never happened now it has gotten worse. I know people will not like my comments here but I would rather watch Ovi/Punni combo doing all the villainy rather than the silly Teju track.

If you don't like what I write on my posts from here on, don't read or comment. Why don't you read threads written by other people? If you don't grasp what I write, then don't comment either. And by the way, I am Indian and yes, Indians do have a habit of appreciating REALLY bad comedy.

The actress you plays Tej is weak, but it's the new sisters who are a bother and the over acting of the actress you plays Savita. I mean do they REALLY think these characters and the conflict are funny? It's terrible. It''s just shouting, over-acting and talking in a sing song voice that we're so supposed to find amusing? That's not an accent; that's just ridiculousness. Seriously, there is one thing I have noted on Indian tv is writers do NOT know how to write comedy. The best comedy comes from excellent character development and the situations they are in.

Two neighbors not liking each other alone is NOT the basis of a good comedy.

I agree with you 100%, The fight between 2 ladies is so boring and love story has no chemistry yet,

I agree. I was looking forward to Teju's love story, but realized how boring it is. And yea I agree that the Snehalata and Savita arguing track is annoying too. It seems as if they are just filling these scenes on PR episodes so that the episodes are long enough. Its really pathetic

Right now so many filler episodes are going on as EK or her juvenile CVs dont know where to go...They have so many promos with diff stuff...I think they are feeling the fans and see which way they should take the tracks..

I for one was looking forward to Teju love track but she is paired up with 2 guys who are way to younger looking for her...THough I like both bros but they are not right for Teju...

Bringing in Gujarati family was a huge mistake...DOnt like actress as Ketki Dave is shown to be silly talking...No gujarati talks like that in any part of India or the world...

What they are showing with Savita is completely boring...Kissing Archana, Purvi's behind, either fighting with chawl cats or Snehlata is simply stupid...Today showed her fighting with Damo who instigates each fight...Boring...

Why not killl this old couple off the show and let them rest in peace...

Tooo many things are boring not only Teju's romance track or Savita, Purvi, Punni, etc all are 🥱 worthy
