Ive been watching Bv on n off since.the beginning but it was Shiv that really got me hooked on. Imust admid that BV is the only TV serial that i watch but the last few epis totally boggled me.
I believe that Shiv was working on a proposal for a railway line in Jaiser, keyword being "proposal". As per what was shown, Jagya inflated the figures in the proposal n sent it to the concerned dept. If my understanding is corrwct, then how can a corruption case be made out of it?? A proposal is a business case n if the estimates (they called it budget) seemed too high, it cud have been rejected. There doesnt seem to have been any deviation from process, bribery, wrong tendering of contracts etc which wud qualify as corruption. I understand that CVs hav artistic license but this is challenging the viewers' intellect!
Whats ur opinion?

Yes u r absolutely rit, it was CVs blooper. First of all u cant arrest a person on the basis of mailed budget, without hard copy. Maximum he cd be questioned and not so speedy CBI inquiry and action. Secondly during interrogation in police station Anandi and all shiv's family were visiting him like their own house 😆 cvs just lost their.

This whole railway fraud was indeed a blooper but a blunder the way cvs handeled

  1. world hasn't progressed this much that all such things done on basis of soft copy with soft copy there goes hard copy a must with collector's sign on it and Jagaya only made changes in soft copy so what happened with hard one both will be different
  2. it was only a railway proposal sent to high officials for the track ..budget how much expense will come on track not how much have been used on track so high officials could have rejected the proposal we cannot afford this much money for it make another proposal from where fraud came here ?😆
  3. There is no actual fraud of money has CBI got any proof for it NO so first investigate find proofs then arrest
But what can one expect from cvs the whole Jagaya's negative track was full of blunders perhaps they might have shown him doing some actual fraud but critcizim they got for this track when they realized it was complete nonsense till then they have shown him doing these changes in railway document so out of this mess they found only this way and made a story 😆
  1. They will land Shiv in trouble and show AnSh relation strong and prove to Shekhars and Shiv ...Anandi will never leave his support in every case
  2. They made Anandi go against the famous superstition you cannot go out of house after your haldi ceremony but Anandi did for supporting her future pati dev
  3. they will make jagaya correct his this mistake and show he has changed and earn forgiveness for himself without expecting it thus reuniting the family because with Jagaya Singhs role will come too in future otherwise it will be unfair with these actors as with Anandi's going out of their house their role will end Jagaya will come even then but Singhs won't but with this both will come and Jagaya will also be punished less and will come back soon when there is no fraud so punishment will also be not equal to that so he will come back soon
But in between they shown the railway fraud case as complete bloopery but what can we expect from them to cover up one blunder they will use another blunder 😆and cvs thought people will forgive our all cons for getting their desired pros 😆

Agree with all the opinions expressed here. I felt cheated in a manner of speaking, a lot of sentimental rubbish, but there was no substance. Jagya comes and says my mistake and everyone including Sumitra and Bhairon jump into Forgive bandwagon. Not that I was expecting much, but one did feel cheated by CVs.

Today's episode was very childish and acting levels were below the normal expectation level.

It was indeed a big blooper but then they show a lot of unreal things about government functioning in tv and films. Proposals are not approved on the basis of soft copy only. If there are inflated figures in soft copy, they wait for hard copy or ask for clarifications/justifications. There is no ghotala in sending inflated/wrong figures in the proposal. Moreover, the cases are generally investigated initially by police, but here direct CBI. The family forgiving Jagya is no big deal but how CBI and police believe Jagya. Can anybody just go and say that he did it and CBI will let go of original suspect and arrest the person on his confession? And the way Jagdish was shown in hathkadi, I think hathkadi is used for only hardcore criminals.

Agree totally! Am joining the disillusioned lot!

BV Cvs have totally lost it in the last couple of months! Things that needed to unfold slowly have been rushed through in illogical hasty manner, while they are leaving tons of loop holes & unresolved issues in the wake. Logic & reasoning were thrown out the window since J came back to Jaitsar, but the current railway ghotala track & it's resolution absolutely takes the cake in blooper fest.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that it's the same set of directors who have been making BV for the past four years (or five!) Cause never before have the production values and editing been this bad with rampant use of BDs & choppily put together scenes. Infact the one thing that set them apart from other shows was the consistency & beauty with which they always tied all the loose ends & resolved every issue even if at a snail's pace.

Don't know if its a planned strategy to save unresolved issues for later use in conjunction with TRPs back in the game, but the finess is gone. Its almost like two sets of people are directing the show...one set have their hearts in the right place & still come up with some gems & the dialogue writer still excels at his job & the other set are holding them at gun point to wrap up things any which way!

Yeah, thinking about it the episode was BADLY edited and appeared very contrived. 👎🏼 DS's acting which is normally very good was below par, Shashank, notwithstanding the fact that I dislike the character he plays, is a fine actor, even he was mumbling throughout, Anandi and her big Bong eyes are boring me now, Bhairon was not in his elements. I have long ago excused Gehna and Besant, toh raha Shiv, he was average. 👎🏼

Very artificial, some scenes put together in a hurry and one look at the Shekhar family including that bicchhoo, they were like wham man what have we gotten ourselves into? 😭

Ya, cant agree more!
DS & family saw Jagya on TV! omg! After watching on TV, DS decided that he was true to his heart, without even talking to him or understanding whether he is being truthful or acting again?
How convenient! 😉
Episode appeared fake to me. Hehe your point about Shekhar family is funny 😆

And the larger point on Shiv's arrest, etc! That was badly handled too. All this was just done to make Jagya hero, to come and become the "savior"

nice thread, agree with most pov's. Additionally i hate the preachy moral at the end of the every episode as it stopped making sense a long time ago. Somewhere i read or heard that Purnendu shekhar the writer believes that its difficult for a woman to forget her first husband and thats how his story has evolved with that erroneous belief, but I want Mr. Shekhar to know that is his belief as most women who end their first marriage do so because they are really unhappy and have been treated very badly and have to end the marriage for their own survival and sanity. Indian women are conditioned to accept a lot of crap and even the most modern lot will only think of divorcing after having tried everything to salvage their marriage. If the husband was worth remembering they wouldn't divorce him in the first place. Its possible that all this shoddy and sketchy recent storyline is a result of this thinking.
