I have written down all my feelings about the episode in responses. So much for not doing a take! 😆

I guess it is cut-copy-paste time. 😛

@ Samana...I confess i did not think about the cracker scene that way, and in fact enjoyed it becoz of Gurmeet's wonderful acting.however, I agree with what u said about the Mumbai track. Aarti was always being pushy.in fact she was being pushy even before Mumbai, but since that was for the kids.still ok. however what bothered me a lot back then, and what i remembered after reading ur take was her running commentary with Yash and Arpita's family album. I thought that was the height of insensitivity! whats scary was she never realized that she was being insensitive, and actually was angry when Yash told her that she had no right to talk about him and arpita! She never understood that it was she who had pushed Yash into saying it!

@Sam : of all the possibilities listed by you regarding the truths, would the cvs not start with the easiest and simplest to deal with first and get it out and start building upwards to the major one!! In my humble opinion it would be the friend uncle who helped them in lalithpur!!!

But whaaat is this I read? You were pissed off at Aarti for pulling Yash's leg? Yaaar, itna sensitive kyun hai with regards to Yash! I thought it was such a cute normal husband - wife thingy. My Mom and Dad do it to each other, I do it to my husband and the other way round, I have seen tons of my friends pulling each others leg for their weaknesses. I saw it as the extent of comfort in their relationship rather than an insensitive action to put the other person down.

@All, I absolutely loved that bit where Yash asks Aarti to come with him for 2 mins and he gets super irritated with her when she stalled. GC was superb with his voice modulation. And I thought to myself whaaat our superman thinks he can do 'it' in 2 mins? 😈😆

Our Yash Superman ki Jay ho! 😆

BOLD: : it is cute if done in private, but once it is out on the open especially infront of kids and other youngsters especially it is not so nice anymore. I remember my dad would tease my mom too and she would say please not in front of others especially youngsters and strangers!!! I thought it was kind of rude of her to continue that teasing instead of letting it go!!!

aahhh... quite a pleasant episode with sum very intriguing moments...

okay.. the starting scene was very cute...
okay.. Yash ko to i sooo adore...
he looked sooo adorable...
aapki pehli diwali.. umm.. mtlb... hamari pehli diwali... 😆
I loveee Yash...
den... the way Aarti laughed at Yash regarding crackers n ol was funny.. but the moment she said bout the test of Yash in the evening.. honestly.. what came into my mind was... girl, first think of passing ur test of trust and honesty...
but welll.. dat tym... i cudnt remove my eyes from Yash...

den coming to the phone conversation of Yash with d Dubeys...
honestly.. i jz saw Yash and i was like awww... these people so don't deserve the love and respect you are showering on them... these are d people playing a treacherous game wd ur emotions... n looking at Dubey's expressions, I felt like strangling him... This guy who is not even ur son is loving and respecting you like his own parents and giving you the love dat ur son neva really gave you ... and still you give out such expressions..
Prashant coming and asking them to go to Aarti's home didnt trigger any emotion for him in me.. i still find him ever so selfish... 😡
When Yash said to Shobha that he has learnt to emotionally blackmail from Aarti.. i thought and Aarti has learnt from Dubeys... 😆

okay... coming to the diwali aarti scene...
honestly... though Aarti's saree was pretty, i didnt like her make up... too much...
i feel Samragyi and Leena were looking very pretty especially Leena's hairstyle... 😃 👍🏼
When I was watching the scene, i just thought the whole Scindia Mansion is full of couples... 😆 aise me Bua will obviously feel left out... 😆 and then only, the aarti ki thaal was passed to Dubeys wen Bua was coming in front... 😆 i laughed but sumwhr i felt probably that is why she harbors enmity for all, she feels alienated.. and after that she was sooo pissed off that she didnt even do the puja whole heartedly... waise bhi i dnt think Bua does the AARTI by heart now... 🤣

coming to the crackers scene...
thought every1 acted very well and it was funny and all...
Gurmeet looked absolutely adorable and cute.. I don't think Aarti shouldn't have made fun of Yash in front of their kids.. it doesnt seem nice father being down in front of his kids...
but yea Gurmeet looked absolutely cute and adorable in the whole scene...

coming to Yash and Prashant meet..
Prashant is sucha leech... telling Yash dat not evry1 has the fate like him... ohh plzzz... dat fate ws sumtym his but he himself kicked it out... so he has no right to say sumthin lyk dat... 😡
and Yash... hes sucha loving man... he loves evry1 with an open heart... but Prashant is sucha selfish creep dat wen Yash asked him to cum, he immediately takes that opportunity and go to Yash's home... 😡

umm.. precap... umm sure Aarti will make up sumthin after the initial shock..

but well.. a gud story-teller...
unexpected and really nice...
n DUBEYS.. I DESPISE...
Yash Scindia.. i loveee you... and i feel sooo bad for you... i hate how evry1 is making a fool of you and betraying all your trust..

I get you about what you are saying about Arti! Basically it boils down to just one question for me. Is Arti a bully?

But also my dad was laughing at the antics Arti was pulling infront of family. Now If that happened to me I'd go away to my room and sulk!😆 I forgot what bullying is all about but now I remember!😕

@samana: loved your take on the cracker part of the episode with arti pushing it too far. Very insightful. It reminded me of also how in the beginning she told the scindiyas the way they brought up the girls was not right! She seemed very flippant even then.

She is a good soul, but does not think before opening her mouth and probably is not as sensitive as others especially Yash. In this aspect they are just so opposite of each other. This sensitive issue has helped her in coming out of hurt fast and bouncing back and has held yash back a lot. Interesting characters both.

@Samana: I think you asked the question and answered it yourself honey!

There was something not quite wholesome about the whole thing to me... and I wonder if it is a defense mechanism, the more she fears revealing her true self to Yash, the more confident and dominating she acts to his face.
-- unquote --

Aarti definitely resorts to being some sort of a mild bully with Yash when she is hiding something (or when she is not able to be her honest self with him). Compare this against how she dealt with the nada episode- where she still made fun of him but ended with assuring him that he could ask for her help without losing his superman image.

I think you are absolutely right in that this is a defense mecahnism for her- it is an act to hide the extreme vulnerability she is feeling at this time. That goes hand in hand with the gleeing! 😊 That too is Aarti forcing a reaction that she knows is expected of her- but because of the many things on her mind- she has to force it. I believe Aarti doesn't honestly recognize this about herself yet. But when something catches her by surprise, her actions and reactions are more true to her real and much more likable self- like her much subdued smile and thankyou to Yash upon seeing the diya-lit heart.

@Pearl: Great take Sweetie 👏 👏...yes Yash has changed a lot and him not following into SP's footsteps is spot on, Yash is coming out of the cocoon he has been in for years and he loves it.

As for P is flip-flopping the man says one thing and then he goes and does the opposite cause he was feeling lonely and he wants to spend time with the son he denied years ago 🤔

@Kirthi: Yup the rest of the evening is gonna be a total nightmare for Aarti ...Awww Yash can't hold two senses when he's around Aarti poor guy is so gone that it's so adorable 😳...true they all look great in their attire 😃

@Angel: Fab take Sir 👏 👏...pffttt i don't think Yahs will be singing we are family when the truth comes out about P, the poor guy gonna be so hurt that i think he may do a little escape to clear his head but he won't be far...He'll be in the garden 😉

@Samana: Well I loved all your replies so I can go on and say excellent take Hun 👏 👏 👏...Hmm i don't think that Aarti knows hos powerful her words are and yes she did take it a little too far with Yash but IMO she didn't see it that way she just wanted to get him to get out of his fears and what better way to do that than make the person face their fears heads on (hope I made sense) 🤔

@Abby: ha lovely take 👏 👏...Yashbabu was so adorable and the way he went out of his to invite the Dubeys over for dinner and when he told Shobha about emotional blackmail, I was like Dear you are talking to the Queen 😆

Okay off to bed...Got an early one in the AM...Goodnight Sweeties!!! 🤗

@Ria, it has been a trait of Aarti's from the beginning not to pick up on these things. It happened between her and Prashant as well in all their interactions. I am not defending Prashant's actions here, in the least, but his character as we are seeing it now is not exactly a changed one, it is Aarti and Shobha who have changed in relation. He always tried to be as nice as possible at first, and the worst things he said only came out when he felt like nobody was listening to him. When he was leaving her, he started out by explaining rationally why... saying that he didn't think they were right for each other and that he freed her from the relationship. It was only when she kept begging him that he said she was selfish, almost as though to say something shocking enough to get her off of him. Similar thing happened at the temple before the wedding. Finally in that last confrontation, Prashant was again trying to be nice, but Shobha's refusal to listen to anything he had to say made him lash out in any way he could, unfortunately against Aarti instead of Shobha because he felt that she was the one who had turned Shobha over to her. Prashant was always hugely selfish, yes, but he never intended to hurt Aarti and wanted her to move on and be happy. But often her persistence made him say things in a way that he wouldn't necessarily have wanted to if he wasn't blinded by frustration.

I know this is going to be one of my "radical" posts that gets me andas and tamatars, but I think it is the truth. It is a character trait of Aarti's not to be very sensitive once she latches on to an idea and makes up her mind to see it through.
