Epi begins with Tara assuring Kamini that Chandni will be out of Adi's life very soon. She keeps bragging about her evil schemes when Shanty, hidden from their view, listens to their conversation and records it on his mobile. They hear a vehicle outside and Tara says that it must be Adi. Kamini asks her if she thinks chandni is with Adi to which Tara replies that now chandni will never return.
Adi comes in and Tara inquires about GP's health. Adi says he'll be discharged the next day. Tara then asks him where's chandni but Adi walks off without answering her. Tara turns to Kamini and smirks saying "lo, Chandni toh gayi…" She turns towards the door to see Chandni standing there. She goes to chandni and is about to confront her when Shanty comes there and says to chandni " Bhabhi, I've been waiting for you to return. I am craving for pakodas made by you…" He then asks Kamini and Tara whether they would like to have some but Kamini refuses and they leave from there.
Chandni tells Shanty that she'll go make the pakodas but Shanty stops her and asks " Bhabhi, what secret are you keeping from us? What is it because of which you've agreed to leave Adi on Tara's behest?" Chandni is flustered and replies that there's no such thing and she's not leaving Adi. Shanty then plays the recording on his mobile and says that he'll tell Gp and Adi about it. Chandni stops him and makes him promise that he'll not say anything to anyone. Shanty is annoyed, gives her the simcard and says do whatever you want to. Tara calls chandni on her mobile and asks her to come to her room.
Tara is pacing the room restlessly when chandni comes there. Tara shuts the door and shouts at chandni " I asked you to leave this house. Don't you get that?" She's about to call up her brother when chandni plays the recording. Tara is startled but quickly regains her composure and dares her to tell Adi everything, but reminds her that Mini is pregnant…Chandni cuts her off saying, " Enough Tara, I remained silent but now I'll play the game your way. If you try to harm Minidi, then I'll spill your beans before Gp and Adi. And I know that Adi'll kill you then. I've turned the tables on you now and your fate lies in my hands." Chandni walks away leaving Tara disturbed.
On the way to her room, Chandni thinks to herself that she can fight the world to get Adi. She goes to her room and sees that Adi is making his bed on the couch. (for a change he's sober) He looks at her and says " till you're in this house people should think that everything's ok between us. But we won't share the bed. Is that ok with you?" Chandni nods sadly and Adi goes to sleep.
The next morning Shanty is helping Gp in the hospital when AC come there. They both bend down to seek Gp's blessing at the same time when their hands touch and they look at each other. Gp blesses them and is happy to see them together.
At the Khanna house, Kamini tells Tara "Chandni can't do anything since Mini's under your control. You better go ahead with your plans. Even if Adi comes to know the truth what will he do? At the most Adi will only throw you out of the house" Tara snaps " He'll throw me out? I did all this to have Chandni thrown out, but if Adi throws me out then… Anyways what about you Kamini? You dream of taking over India Calling will remain a dream since it is clear from that recording that you too are involved in this." Kamini is worried and asks Tara "what do we do now?" Tara says "firstly, we have to know who could have recorded our conversation, since chandni was at the hospital when we were talking. Could it be Shanty?" Kamini replies " Shanty? He's an idiot, it can't be him. Could it be that chandni has fixed a microphone or camera in the rooms" And Tara becomes distressed
