Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain

Episode begins with Chaudhary House in Hrishikesh, Badi Beeji praises Pinky Chachi's rangoli. Beeji enters and remembers Manvi making the rangoli each year. All of them remember Manvi and Jeevika sadly. Just then, they call up Dabbu, and on loud-speaker together wish the entire family a very happy Diwali.
Badi Beeji intervenes saying that she was missing her chudail (witch) = Manvi. Everyone makes jokes. Virat takes the phone and asks them if they only miss their daughters and not sons? He then asks Dabbu to burst a lot more firecrackers on his behalf too! After speaking to both behnas, the Chaudhary's are now happy and decide to burst firecrackers.
Manvi too on the other side, forces everyone to stop with the phuljari and burst some big crackers! While everyone is busy with the celebrations, Karan moves out and speaks to someone on the phone. He informs the guy that he has already entered the Vadhera Mansion. The guy then asks him something but Karan promises to inform later. He then wishes him Happy Diwali and hangs up. After he leaves, detective Manvi comes out from the bushes and thinks to herself who Karan was talking to? Before she could think about it further, Manvi calls out to her to burst crackers. She gets excited and leaves forgetting about the incident.
Later on, Virat is standing around the ground and Karan approaches him, he tells him that Viren is really sensitive and he's been really sad ever since the Puja incident when Ma (Swamini) handed him the thali instead of Viren. Virat contradicts and tells Karan, that Viren and Swamini have always been close, and she has always given him the position of her son, hence he got uncomfortable, but otherwise there's no problem. Karan agrees and decides to go talk to Viren.
So Karan approaches Viren and informs him that he understands how depressed, sad and helpless Viren must have felt when Ma gave him the thali instead of Viren. Viren gets uncomfortable. He continues that he knows the relationship they shared, but Virat doesn't think so. Viren asks what said? Hesistantly Karan says that Virat thinks he is very sensitive, and didn't like Ma coming close to him. Viren is shocked that Virat would say something like this to him.
Viren walks up to Virat and asks him how he could say something like this about him to Karan? Virat is confused. Viren goes on that he never thought that his own brother would bath mouth him. Karan watches this from far and smirks while Jeevika and Manvi rush to both brothers to know what's been going on. Before they could ask about anything, Viren walks off in a huff and Jeevika follows him.
Inder and Kaddambari notice Swamini doing the phuljari along with Karan. Soon, the entire family gathers around to see the mother-son duo bursting crackers. They are all delighted. Viren seems miffed at Virat while Virat just looks on. Once again Jeevika and Manvi notice this change and decide to solve their little fight because both of them cannot bare to see the lovely brothers in any arguments.
Both husbands informs their respective wives about the incident, Virat says he hasn't done anything but Bhai doesn't want to listen to him! On the other hand Jeevika tells Viren that she cannot believe that Virat has said something like this. Manvi comes in and agrees that Viren has had a misunderstanding.
Virat clarifies that he never said anything of that sort! Viren realizes and quickly apologizes to Virat. They share a cute hug. All 4 think why Karan planted this misunderstanding between them?
Precap- Inder tells Viren that they need some evidence to prove that Karan is indeed Swamini's son, because he has doubts. Viren is confused. Manvi too enters and says she finds something fishy about Karan because she overheard him telling someone that he will finish the work he has come for.
Overall, a filler episode? Not much of a progress in anything.But...
