HAPPENINGS: Why The Channels are Blocked
While the world was busy making guesses, we were busy trying to find out the truth, and we are here. So, those who thought TVKahani was also hibernating need to take a look.
Keeping it short, the story is simple. Pakistani channels went to court to ban Indian content, and won it. As a result, cable operators who were earning a huge chunk byadvertising on Indian channels lost a lot of money.
They continued working and started advertising on local channels then (Did anyone see the despicable local adverts on ARY etc.?). This did not go with TV channels and a particular channel (Falls in Top 3) decided to take action, and take the matter to court.
This the cable association did not like and as a result the channels are blocked. We certainly think that Pakistani channels are right as the cable operators have NO RIGHT to advertise on local channels, as this way they take away their advertisers.
The matter should also be sorted out quickly, as it is a loss for everyone, including the viewers, channels and the advertisers… and may be the cable wallas too?
And trust us guys, this story came from the horse's mouth. There might be more angles to it, but this is the BIG one!
Money, Money, Money!
So, will the government allow Indian channels again? Experts say a YES!!!

Honestly, cable operators have no right to advertise like that. They can run Indian channels though.
