okay, so i was wondering why is QH centered around a Muslim backdrop. There is absolutely nothing that deals with an Islamic perspective 😲 except the characters name. plz ,firstly those who dont know the religion would be getting a totally inaccurate concept of the faith, why they just couldn't make it as the other normal serials. 🤔 No offence intended to anyone because i dont want to make this forum to turninto a chaos like what takes place on the phir subah hogi forum. Anyway, i want to ask if there is anyone who could put up a daily episode video guide in english subtitled i would really appreciate it 👍🏼

i dont think the show's been centred around islam as a religion but instead i think the show is just depicting certain cultures followed in particular islamic communities. its just something different to watch... in the end QH just seems to be a love story between the leads and the way the characters carry out their day to day lives... also the characters being muslim seems to be a part of their identity and not the main concept of the story.. and to the answer the title of this post why a muslim backdrop? i think a simple answer for that 'is why not?' and the same would be said for if it was set with any other religious or social background, its just a show to be watched and enjoyed light heartedly..

folks it may be just show but these things influence people and no matter we dont want the wrong idea to be conceived. it does not matter if it is one day old or three weeks old. a concept is a serious thing and a wrong concept can be detrimental. remember how they may the movie The Message, you would see that concept of somethings is not fun and games thing and yes I know its just a show but some who knows their religion and by the way religion and culture to different things. but hey dont make a big deal. im just doing my doing of clearing the air. so plz no negative comments

Exactly. They're highlighting the culture, not the religion. Religion is a very transient part of all 4 Lions shows. All people respect all faiths and take part in their functions (regardless of the one they're born into). There's very little, if any, focus on ceremonies and rituals. Its all about the culture and human nature. The point is to drawn comparisons, not differences.

But how can showcasing a culture without making its religion the forefront topic be detrimental? This isn't a negative comment, i'm just asking a question. Take no offense, please 😃
They're not centering the show on Islam, they're centering it on a family, who just happens to be Muslim.

Why not Muslim backdrop? We have so many shows on different ethnicity and India is full of different way of life. Since i am not Muslim, I would love to know what their holidays are, their culture and what their beliefs are. One way you can educate people is via TV.

I love this show. I love the way they speak Urdu what a beautiful sweet language. And i think for people like us(NRI) it's a great medium to learn about India's diverse culture.

That's spot on -- it's a family story who happen to be Muslim. The Islam angle is not the be-all and end-all...it just shows that Muslim families have many of the same issues as any other family. Yes, there may be the other issue of this multiple biwis though :)

Which reminds me -- does anyone know if Rashid is divorced from Dilshad? Or if he just has 2 wives and has been pretty neglectful of Dilshad and that family?
