Puru and Ila, very satisfied with the turn of events, retire to bed. Angel looks reproachfully at Meghna.
Angel: This is not done, Megs. Tumne apna mind kyun change kar liya? Agar tum yahan ruk jaati toh mujhe bhi na jaane ka bahaana mil jaata. Ab toh uss backward-se gaon mein rehna padega…..mosquitoes ke saath….aur garmi mein bina AC ke…..(makes a disgusted face)
Meg: (enthusiastically) Angel, you don't know….wahaan pe ek siddh baba bhi hai….jo forehead dekh kar destiny bata dete hain…..aur inke paas healing powers hai…socho agar mujhe unse seekhne ka mauka mil jaya toh…! Angel…(taking her hand)…mere Yantric-Tantric-Mantric Cosmic Healing Science mein tum meri partner ban sakti ho….hum Mumbai mein apna healing centre kholenge…tum administration sambhaalna aur main logon ko cure karungi!😕
Angel doesn't sound too happy at this prospect. It is all she can do to force out a polite smile.😆
JandA are cuddling on their bed.😳 All of a sudden Armaan breaks into a naughty smile. Jassi, mischief dancing in her eyes too, asks him what the matter is.
Armu: Kuch nahin…main toh bas yeh soch raha tha ki jab se Nandu ka hamare saath chalne ka plan bana hai, uska mann kaam mein nahin lag raha….wo mujhe inti zaroori file dena bhool gaya…aur usse dene ke liye ghar tak aana pada!
Jassi grabs the collar of his nightshirt. "Armaan Suri, jinke ghar sheeshe ke hote hain, unhe doosron pe pathar nahin phekne chahiye…! Nandu toh bhool gaya….par tumhe bhi kahan yaad raha? Aakhir kahan tha tumhara dhyan…?" She looks slyly at him.😉😳
Armaan pulls her even closer so that her head is lying on his chest. He lifts her chin with his finger. "Jasmeet Suri…..tum achchi tarah jaanti ho ki aajkal mera dhyan sirf ek jagah rehta hai….meri pyaari si ex-secretary, aur uske saath judi hui meri amaanat mein…!" He slides his hand down, as Jassi closes her eyes. He keeps on gazing ardently at her. Then he closes his eyes too and plants a gentle kiss on each of her cheeks.❤️
When they finally look at each other again, he says, "Lekin Jassi…..aaj Chaman zyada khush nahin lag raha tha…..kya tum jaanti ho kya baat hai?"
She shrugs her shoulders. "Mujhe kuch nahin pata. Ho sakta hai Angel ko dinner table par ne dekh kar uska mood kharab ho gaya ho….nahin toh who bas din gin raha hai, ki kab Amritsar chalenge, aur kab wo Angel ko hamara pind dikhayega!"
Armaan debates whether to tell Jassi or not about the vague hints he got from his parents—that Angel might not go after all. He thinks, "Jassi ko yeh sunkar bahut bura lagega….main abhi usse kuch nahin batata…shaayad Mom-Dad Angel ko convince kar hi lein…"
Jassi is staring quizzically at him. He breaks into one of his charming smiles and teases her, "Bechara Chaman bhi kya kare….jis tarah wo meri behn ka intezaar kar raha hai, ussi tarah ek ladki ne mera uss pind mein intezaar kiya tha….."
Jassi: (playing with his buttons) Mujhe toh laga tha ki tum aoge hi nahin…
Armu: (softly) Lekin main aa gaya na…tumhe surprise deke…?
She hugs him tightly in answer. They break their embrace hastily as there is a knock on the door. Ila enters, beaming all over her face.
Ila: Armaan, Jassi….good news…Meghna chalne ke liye ready hai!
Armu: (casting a quick glance at jassi's delighted face) Kya!
Ila: Haan beta…..ab koi problem nahin….sab log ready hai….thank God ki ab hum aaram se ja sakte hain…
The moment she closes the door behind her, JandA squeal like children and fling themselves at each other.😳
