Hi all here's the WU for Nov 16, 2012:
I will begin with a short update and then do a detailed one later.
Short update:
Starts in the driveway of the hawalee where Lakhan has just driven up to pick up some papers. Meera is bent over in her seat getting anxious to leave. Lakhan asks his brother where is he going as he said he would stay home. He replies he has something to attend to. Lakhan is about to go into hawalee when he get a call from his bhabi to come and pick her up. He leaves to do so.
Meanwhile Prithvi shows up at hawalee and the servant who saw Meera take Ramdhari at gun point informs him of this.
Meera and Ramdhari are in the van and Meera is still pointing a gun at him when Prithvi shows up out of nowhere. Meera says don't stop, if he doesn't move just run over him. Ramdhari puts the breaks on and says I will handle Prithivi you take the car and leave. Meera goes out with Ramdhira and aims the gun at him again. Prithvi starts to advance but Ramdhari stops him. Ramdhari tells her to leave again and she refuses says she will only leave if he goes with her.
Conversations go on about why is Ramdhira saying that Meera and her mom are dead. He says we are not talking about your mom but my wife even if by chance she survived he will not have her back as she was a criminal in the eyes of the villagers and if she is a criminal for them then she is a criminal for him too.
He charges Prithvi with the protection of Meera while she is here as she has refused to leave as she says she will stay for however long it takes to find out why everyone hates her mom so much and why they think she is a criminal. Ramdhari replies stay as long as you like but no one will acknowledge you as my daughter nor talk to you about what what happened 20 years ago and he leaves from there.
At hawalee bhabi is surprised to see her BIL there and inquires if he is okay. He says he is fine and starts to walk away. She asks what about the city girl? He says don't worry about anything as he has handled everything. She says she will not forget nor rest until she sees her punished and says even now Lakhan is out looking for her.
Meanwhile Prithvi is dragging Meera down the road and Lakhan arrives on the road in his vehicle. They have a staring contest, lol, while Meera is hiding behind Prithvi and peeking around his back to see what is going on.
Precap:
Still on the road where the face off was going on between Prithvi and Lakhan. Lakhan grabs a rifle from one of his goons and aims it at Meera but she is still hiding slightly behind Prithvi. Prithvi moves out of the way and calmly says shoot her. Then he yells it!

Part 1 (first half)

To which Ramdhari replies that some work has come up so he has to go out. During this time Meera is getting very anxious to leave and has prompted Ramdhari to leave a couple of times as well (she has been bent over the passenger side seat so that Lakhan does not see her, in fact it was Ramdhari that pushed her down into this position when he saw Lakhan's vehicle pulling up). They leave and Lakhan is all happy as his brother has told him where some papers he is looking for are and is getting them without any issues but his bhabi calls him and asks him to pick her up first. Lakhan says he will be there in 5 minutes.
Shot changes to Meera and her Dad in the vehicle on the road and then changes back to the hawali where Prithvi is seen running in the servant that witnessed Meera taking Ramdhari at gun point tells him this. He looks furious and runs from there.
Back in vehicle on the road:
Ramdhari say "there's still time larkhi leave here, I won't tell anyone anything otherwise if Lakhan finds out then no one in this village will be able to save you". To which she replies "before anyone finds out we'll be already be in Dehli". Ramdhira says "but will you even be able to take us to the station this way with a gun held to my head?" "Who told you that we are taking the train, we are going in this vehicle all the way to Delhi and you will be the one driving" said Meera. He says "you are making a very big mistake larki". She says "I can do anything to get you in front of my mom".
Prithivi appears out of no where on the road in front of them. Ramdhari says "Prithvi?" looking very surprised. Prithvi is looking really pissed and Meera is looking really shocked to see him. So shocked that for a split moment the gun she is holding towards Ramdhira moves, she quickly regains her composure again and aims the gun right back at her dad. Wow, Prithivi is doing a fantastic job looking angry and if looks could kill at that moment I think Meera would be dead! Meera says "-don't stop the car, if he doesn't move just drive over him" Ramdhari brakes anyway.
Meera looks afraid and doesn't seem to know whether to aim the gun at Prithvi or at her dad. She aims for a split second at Prithvi then points it at her dad again.
Ramdhari says "Looks like Prithvi is very angry, you take the car and go, I will handle Prithvi". To which she replies "If I go, then you will have to go with me too". Meera says "Drive, drive the car or else I'll..." Ramdhari interrupts her and say otherwise she'll what, shoot? Go ahead shoot. Shoot! he yells making Meera jump. In a quiter tone he adds "Don't do anything stupid, and just leave her quietly, I'll handle Prithvi".
He gets out of the car and so does she. She's looking at Prithvi and again aims the gun at Ramdhari's head.
Prithvi in all his anger starts approaching Meera and his Dada. As he is advancing Meera says "look, i'lll shoot him" he continues to advance and she repeats "I will really shoot". Prithvi says "lower the gun" and says the same again while still advancing on the two of them. She aims the gun at Prithvi when he is directly in front of them. He raises the gun at her (looks similar to the promo that have been shown except this is in the middle of the road instead of in the village in the promos). Ramdhari looks both shocked and worried when he sees this and looks back and forth between the two of them. He says "No, Prithvi". Prithvi says to Meera "you aimed a gun at my Dada" and then proceeds to say the same but yells it loudly this time. Ramdhari still locking very worried says "no, Prithvi" again. Prithvi cocks the gun anyway and at this point Ramdhira pushes Prithvi while saying "Prithvi put the gun down. Is this what you learned from your Dada? To aim a gun at a woman?" Prithvi lowers his head and somewhat in shame (can't think of another word so shame may not be entirely accurate description) as Dada is asking these questions. Still upset but looking downcast.
Back at the hawale, Lakhan is beating up the servant very badly that was the one that saw Ramdhari being taken at gun point by Meera. He says "you just watched quitely and stood like a statue while the londia (one of his terms for Meera) took your Dada thakur away at gun point". Up till this point bhabi is just pacing back and forth but she say leave him alone as he will gain nothing by killing him. He stops but is still huffing and puffing in all his anger. He claims that he will not stop now. He goes on in detail about the way he is going to kill Meera and cut her into thousands of pieces and spread her pieces all over the village... Bhabi says I also want to see her in pieces, how dare she put a gun on my BIL by doing this so she has spit on our family. I will not get peace until she is punished. Bring her here. I want to see her eyes being closed permanently. Lakhan and his men leave to go and find her.
Part 2:
Back to scene on road:
Ramdhari says "one thing I want you to listen to carefully larki and make sure you remember it well. I am not talking about your mom but my wife. My wife and daughter died 20 years ago drowning in the river in front of my eyes and even if by chance they survived then I will not have her back. Do you get that?" Merra asks "why do you hate your wife so much? Why do you have so much fire/hatred in your heart for her? To which Ramdhari replies "because she has only given my family and I fire/hatred. She did something that not only went against us but the whole village as well. The villagers will never forgive her. For them she was a criminal." "And for you?" Merra asks. Ramdhira answers "anyone who is a criminal against the villagers is also a criminal for me." (spoken like a true sarpanch) and starts walking away towards the vehicle. Meera shouts "this is a lie" as she follows him "my mother cannot hurt/harm anyone". All this time Prithvi is still looking downwards but he looks up as soon as Meera said this. Ramdhari turns to face her and says "I've already told you larki that I am not talking about your mom." Merra says "but I am talking about my mom and to find out who between the two of us is telling the truth I am going to take you to Delhi, in front of my mom. And if you don't go then you won't be going anywhere and aims gun again."
Prithivi tries approaching again but his Dada shakes his head in the negative which stops him in his tracks (looks to be a very difficult thing for him to do as he is so angry, 😆l).
"What does it look like to you?" asks her dad and then starts talking in the third person "Takhur Ramdhari Singh came with you because he feared a gun? NO!" and he grabs the gun away from her. "He came only because he didn't want villagers to finish you off".
Meera asks "if i'm not your daughter then why do you why think/worry so much about me?" He looks away from her and then back again trying not to show any emotions. He walks away from her toward Prithvi and says "I'm not worried about you, I am worried about my usools/ideals" (usools -sorry don't have exact translation of this) and while looking at Prithvi says "I cannot accept it if anyone in my village raises a hand at, or aims a gun at any girl". He turns back and says to Meera "now listen, it will be best if you leave this village." He throws the gun into the bushes and gets ready to get in the vehicle.
Meera says "your village is not an entity onto its own, separate from this country, I have the rights to stay wherever I want". Meanwhile Prithvi is huffing and puffing again over on his side of the road. "I wont leave this village till I find out why the people here hate my mom so much. Why her own husband hates her so much." Ramdhari turns to her and says "fine stay as long as you want." Prithvi looks up quite surprised by this. "Whatever inquires you want to do, do it but no one will talk to you about the incident that happened 20 years ago. Nor will they believe that your my daughter because everyone knows that she is dead. He turns to Prithvi and says "and Prithvi for as long as this larki is here it is your job to make sure no harm comes to her."
Prithivi in his surprise says "but dada..." Ramdhari stops his and says "since when did you start questioning your Dada?" Prithvi looks down submissively again. Ramdhari continues "didn't you hear me?" and repeats that it is his duty to to keep watch over Meera until she is done with her inquiry and returns and during this time it is also his responsibility to ensure that she does not even get a single scratch on her. Prithvi nods his agreement.
He then gets in his vehicle and is ready to drive away as Meera is still asking him where he is going that she is not finished.
Prithvi takes a shot (aimed at the ground) and it scares Meera into stopping as she was running after the vehicle. He grabs a flexible twig from the side of the road and goes towards her and has flash backs of seeing her aiming gun at his dada's head. Once he is in front of he proceeds to wrap the twig around her head like a leash and drags her with him meanwhile she is yelling "what the hell are doing? Bloody animal".
Back at the hawali/haveli:
Ramdhari arrives at the haveli and his bhabi is surprised to see him asks if he is okay. To which he replies that he is fine and starts to walk away. She then asks him what about that city girl? I will not leave her alive as she raised a gun to a thakur. He tells her to calm down bhabi that that eposide has been dealt with. She asks, is that right, how did such a big crime get resolved so easily? He says everything is taken care of and Meera didn't do any crime she was just after answers. He says that no one is to harm her. She says your heart is very big/forgiving but the villagers will not leave her and Lakhah has already gone in search of her. He can't even handle it if someone raises their voices to you and she dared raise a gun. Wherever he finds her he will kill her right there and then.
Back on Road:
Prithvi still dragging Meera by the twig around the back of her neck. Suddenly before them is Lakhan's vehicle. Prithvi pulls out his gun from where he has placed it on his waist (at back) as Lakhan and 2 of his men approach them. Meera grabs Prithvi's arm and hides behind him while peering from behind him. Both Prithvi and Lakhan have a starring contest 😆. Lakhan starts laughing (seriously, I thinks he's a little nuts, 😆). They continue the stare down.
