BV has the best male characters like Shym and now Shiv. Do the characters like this exists in real life ? Accepting a girls past and marry her needs a big heart... really big heart. What do you say ?

Both the character are my favorite one. May be whatever say partially true. But we hope so that still there are some human being are living on the earth who have made the world as a better place of living. At least we try to be like them.I think that Bv also want to convey that.

Not very realistic both of them. I also like Shyam much better than Shiv.
However I , my friends/colleagues etc have hardly seen people like Shyam/Shiv in the real world ,must be 1% of the population who people may not meet in one lifetime. Population of India will be 2 billion 😊

Not very realistic according to me. I have seen kind hearted people, but not particularly people like these 2 in reference to matrimonial.
But then having said that charcter like Anandi is also not very real, niether Gauri. All these people are at extremes of goodness and G extremely insecured, which I don't think happens in real life (as in context to Indian society, culture, tradition & up bringing).

I think Shyam was a more realistic character than Shiv...he had more layers to him...initially when he'd entered, they'd created a good mystery about his intentions too making us wonder if he was intending to extract revenge from the Singh family on his father's behalf...Shyam was never a MAHAAN character...initially especially in his single-minded pursuing of Sugna...he was understanding, yes...but he was always very HONEST and FORTHRIGHT about his feelings and intentions for her...that was the reason I really liked his character.

In comparison, Shiv is a pretty one-dimensional idealistic, noble character...he treats Anandi with kid gloves in many ways...both Sugna and Anandi had faced tragedy in their lives but their subsequent love stories with the men in their lives took very different paths.

To be honest I find Shyam more unrealistic than Shiv.
He chose to marry Sugna when she was pregnant with Pratap's child out of wedlock, and who was immensenly in love with Pratap. As a man he had too much to sacrifice. To top it more, he had to convince Singhs and his parents who had conservative mentality and who were once enemies of Kalyani devi.
Shyam's mental & emotional fight was tougher than Shiv's and I find that a bit unrealistic. Or say too good to be true.
Shiv chose A, when she was at the verge of divorce. His family was pretty open-minded about the allinace and Singhs too wanted this alliance. His only fight was to give space to Anandi, so that she can reciprocate to his feelings, which is gradually happening. This is comparatively less stressful
Since A is the lead, obviously there is lot more focus on AnSh relationship than S&S.
But yes in real life if people like Shyam & Shiv exist than hats off to them

Real but very very very rare...And the most unrealistic thing is the Singh family getting the benefit of such men..while the Singh's were kind of tyrannical people themselves except Bhairon. They were so cruel and mean to the beendhni's of their house while they get the best ones. How unfair!

Agree with u Missesha. The CV's make the female characters cry for years together and once it gets too boring, they bring such male leads...then these male leads start their unrealistic struggle to bring the females out of their depression...and finally gain their trust.
